    Lakers 10.5 points better at home?

    I know books adjusted the line due the desperation factor but lakers were +8 in both OKC games. They opened +6 in the first game and +7.5 in the second game. But floated and closed at +8 in both. So even a 'fair' market price on them would have to be considered +7 at OKC. They opened a weak -2.5. With a strong +130 ML on OKC. Looks like a bit of action both ways from the looks of the moves but books have held fairly strong on the 2.5 with the ML going from that +130 down to +120 a couple times. Sitting right around 125 or so right now.

    Lakers played a perfect game for 46 minutes and change and still lost. That game was worse on them than the blow out they had.

    Bottomline is since this is a very rare back to back game scenario in the play offs if lakers lose tonight they fold up their tents and mail it in tomorrow and save themselves a trip back to OKC and will have their tee times for Sunday Morning set tonight if they lose. So while desperation may be 'worth' something it really isnt if you just arent good enough to win.

    Same thing with Clippers, play Saturday & Sunday. Back to Lakers, they play tonight and then tomorrow AFTERNOON. Talk about a quick turnaround.

    they would have been better off making the lottery, nothing worse than getting to the play off and continually getting exposed. Except trading away your only real assets (draft picks) for guys that dont help you much at all.

    But will be really interesting, Gasol has 17 mil and change coming off his salary so he will be tradeable at least but who do they get that is as good or versatile as him (when he is inspired). There will also be the predictable Bynum for Howard straight up talk which is a joke, but because Orlando will be desperate to move him they might just take it. But then again Howard might have chronic back issues if he does he wont ever be the same, so even he right now is a big question mark.

    Lots of free agents this year too will be interesting to see how many are interested to come and play with an aging kobe and whatever flotsam and jetsam they can piece together. My guess is the same as the past 15 or so years kobe as been there....zero.

    But back to the OP a road ML parlay looked to be the play of the night. +120 to +130

    Actually condensed schedule has nothing to do with it because playoffs started the same time they would have with original full schedule. Has mostly to do with Networks and partly to do with Staples Center.

    I don't think the league would ever allow that....They play tonight at 10:30pm EST and then 24 hours later at 10:30pm on Saturday again.

    doesnt make sense they extend the playoffs from mid april to mid june.... then they put games back to back days who is the moron putting the playoffs together.


    should be every other day. until the series is over..
