interesting question..... most of us awesome athletes are way over the hill, and the younger crowd here seems to be less athletic and more video game and drugs inclined...... maybe if we had 2 months to prepare, get in shape and get some sort of chemistry, set plays ect together, we'd make a game of it. But I'd take WNBA -10.5 at this point

the best girl's team could not compete with any D-1 team..... sorry, hell a 6'1 point gaurd would be able to post up every girl in D-1 except Griner, like he was Shaq and they were Ricky Rubio without quickness. C'mon

Lmao... all about the money is spot on... just cause they don't dunk doesn't mean there not good... I get dumber everytime I read some of thes threads here... in an nba game what percent of points are off dunks? Half them can't shot they can just dunk..... now think about sbr posters.... a handful could and might be quicker... but the defense the women play isn't the defense your seeing at the local ymca.... they are professionals... its amazing how people could act on a internet message board...have fun covering mya moore, or diana taursi when they start stroking the 3 ball, then add the d they play... common sbr just cause their women doesn't mean you could win... there's no shame in that either... sbr sexist and racist why am I not surprised

it's all good I am not trying to argue about the SBR posters. I am terribly out of shape compared to when I played. I would pass out if I tried to run a full court game for 20 minute halves or whatever time limit they put on this fantasy match up. I'm just saying D1 players would embarrass any ladies team you put on the floor. We can agree to disagree about that.

I'm with ya FindTL, the mind is willing, but the body is sooo old and weak now..... and to the point about dunks, its not the dunks themselves and points that come from them. Its the athleticism behind them. Do you really think the girls get many boards? The game is played above the rim by men. There is a guy at the worst MEAC school that was 6'7 and could jump out the gym and averaged 2 blocks a game. How many blocks would he have vs a 6'1 girl with a 18 inch vert? c'mon

Let's really shit on the forum and say 99% are slobs, old, or ghosts. That leaves 1,800 remotely serviceable posters. Say 10% (180) of that have solid size, skill, some experience. 12 could easily be found to win

Is Candice Parker the best, tallest player at 6'4'' 175 lbs? The size is just a joke for the best. A guy would have 75 lbs on her and a couple inches.

Let be real here, WNBA ladies would kill the SBR posters and it's not even close. Only way SBR wins is if there are some college basketball players that post here.

sunde is right. we arent talking jjgold at power forward, brock landers as 2 guard, ttwarrior at the 3, mug at center and beantownjim running the point. there has got to be 12 guys still in their 20s and still in decent shape that started on their high school basketball team of the 180k members. give them a week to prepare my money is on them.

you can't box out a 6'8 man with a 40 inch vertical. he doesn't need to touch you to get the rebound over your back. These young kids can fly in D1 ball. Every team has a few guys who can leap out of the gym and dunk with their knees.

agree with you most of these kids can fly and will get rebounds without fouling but your are talking about the top 100 programs. ive seen a few of these women who are 6'2 and have 30 inch verticals they will get touched if they have inside position. take out the top 100 mens teams. these top 5 women teams will compete with the other teams.

as far as the poster who said there are some former high school or college players here give them a week to prep and they would beat the women. you are smoking dust. this is their job they train and play ball for probably 10 months out of the year. there is no shot in the world posters at sbr could compete with a d2 womens basketball team nevermind wnba all stars

if they are 6'2 and have a 30 inch vert they are dunking Allabout...... why do we not seem them on sportscenter? why are there only 1-2 girls you see dunking "barely" besides griner in the history of girl's hoops?

just picked a completely random d3 team... ohio northern.... then searched youtube and found this..... yeah.... i'm laying the chalk with ONU against any wnba team. also, i'm assuming they are playing with a normal sized ball and not that grapefruit they use in the wnba.
