Could any team in history have beat OKC tonight?

That was about as close to perfect basketball as could be played

OKC, San Antonio, and Miami are the only teams with a chance to take home the trophy.

Only team would be a Jordan-led team in his prime.

Im not saying this team is the greatest of all time or anything like that. I just think in that particular game last night, they played just about perfect. They had a double digit lead from halfway through the second quarter and held it the entire game. Took their starters out around the beginning of the fourth and still put up 119 points and only had four turnovers in the entire game! Even Jordan in his prime would have had trouble winning last night! And this is the second round of the playoff's, not some jerk off game in the middle of a long season.

LOL Harden shot like shit, they got outrebounded, and Lakers had 15 turnovers. I would hardly call it a 'perfect' game. The major reason for the score discrepancy was free throws, Lakers were 13-14 and OKC was 24-29, so that was 11 points right there and double the attempts. Reverse those numbers alone and LA might have won.

Play off games are easy to look at whoever has the most free throws generally wins, at least if it is an obvious difference, thats why it is easy for the refs to control them so much.

Lakers are just a bad team why people dont realize that is beyond me. Now that Bynum has quit and Gasol is looking like he doesnt give a shit either that makes them even worse. They might throw a token effort in at one of the LA games but it probably wont be enough to eek out a win without ref help.

I give LA a slight chance last night to steal that game if OKC came out flat, that was apparently 'wrong' after about 5 minutes. Lakers got old, tired, and disinterested in a big hurry. They arent even on the same planet at OKC is in terms of overall talent, and when a couple of the guys LA has (weel the only 2 besides Kobe) who have any real NBA talent at all have checked out this could get ugly.

1983 Philadelphia 76er's probably could have done it also. One of the best teams I ever saw.

A lot of Bulls' teams could have beat the Thunder tonight. Not just 95-96.

You guys are overrating the Thunder. Lakers are old and have a tendency to just quit and let teams rape them.

76-77 Blazers would probably beat that team last night. Jack Ramsay would coach circles around Scott Brooks and Walton would go to town on Ibaka.
