Thanks. There are more tvs in casinos now than I ever remember noticing before. Football televised in the pits and bars. When the breaking news hit the screens all it takes is a few people to see it and get the crowd panicked. The first stuff I saw on tv said active shooter on strip but not specific locations. A buddy was working at Caesars that night and said no shooters on property.

My only point is politicians and celebrities who only speak out after a mass shooting are self serving opportunists who are completely insincere about caring about victims of gun violence. If someone truly cares about the issue they would speak out about the situations that make up 98% of gun deaths instead of only the high profile 2%.Comment -

as a resident of the city of Chicago and having property in one of the worst murder neighborhoods there are some subtle differences as to why people don't react the same.
about 97% of more of the Murders in Chicago happen to street thugs, hanging outside of drug corners/liquor stores and abandoned houses/stash houses. They mostly happen late at night. The guys that get shot, know the risks and just don't care because they don't have any other choices. No one really cares when these idiots get murdered, except their mom's with their 8th grade graduation pictures. The rest of the hood doesn't care. When you get the rare, 8 year old girl on a porch hit by a drive by, then people in the hood get upset and do some marches for a few weeks ect. or you get the mom's staking out a corner trying to bring positivity. But non of that really scares or effects the wealthier people in the nicer neighborhoods and suburbs.
plain and simple, if you don't hang out on a drug corner you won't get shot..
But 58 people get killed at 1 time at a concert, where people should feel safe and are just trying to have a good time.

tanks had bullet indentations.....
little .223 bullets simply aren't enough to due the trick.....
would've been much more interesting if he'd lodged some of that tannerite around the tanks and shot the explosive shit.....

That is not what I was saying. I only meant that politicians and celebrities use these mass shootings for their own benefit, under the illusion of caring about gun violence. It gets the most press.
