This season, because of the coaching change, Kobe has stepped back quite a bit from the leadership role he took on with Phil Jackson. Lakers have a leadership vacuum. And Kobe knows it's not good for the Lakers if he scores too many points. He needs the others to step up, but he's not really trying to inspire them to do so. The Lakers have all the experience where it comes to games 7. But Denver has found very easy ways to the basket against a very poor interior D, and if that continues anything can happen. The NBA has a healthy dose of WWF, so I want to see who the refs are first.

Lakers blowout city. Good luck if you think all those goons on denver will have another night like last night when every roll went there way.

will be a really interesting game to watch thats for sure. If Lakers arent shooting lights out theyll get a 2-1 free throw advantage. If they dont make them then Denver could possibly win. In a 'fair' game its a toss up, but due to how the lakers have always gotten special treatment they have a clear advantage. As long as people tune in and Kobe is playing lakers will be a team the NBA wants to see advance.

But if they offered a prop like 'which team will take more free throws' I would take the limit and LA for just about any odds under 100-1.

Just like Miami should win the nba title last year because there were billions of $$$$$$ profit if The King would get a ring.. What did we see?

its actually a 'better' story the longer he goes without winning one. besides that was the finals and them winning didnt get anything for them. This is the first series, so lakers advancing means a lot more revenue, especially if Clippers dont make it because of injuries. There are more illegals here watching the lakers than the whole state of Florida has people so Miami is a small fish in terms of media market. why do you think lakers have been allowed to do what they have done since they moved to LA? Other than that period right after Magic came out saying he had HIV, (lakers got 'punished' for that as AIDs and HIV was really scarey back then) they have had undeniable favoritism forever. Make believe trades, back room deals, former GMs who work for other teams giving them players for free, phantom foul calls in just about every series. But this isnt anywhere near the lakers of old, hell it isnt close to the lakers of last year in terms of the whole package. its a franchise in free fall with zero chance of getting out in the foreseeable future. So does the league bite it and play the 'what happened to the lakers card' or do they try to perpetuate the fantasy that this team is good? I think they milk it as far as they can next year and next year will be the time the Lakers stop getting favoritism. Because a mediocre lakers team doesnt sell as well as a shitty one or a 'great' one.

Why wouldn't they win? Beside game 1 shellacking, the Nuggets has looked good in every game, including flat out dominating the Fakeshow in game 5 and 6. Ever since Karl benched Koufos, and went with just Mozgov and Mcgee, their bigs rotation has been smoother in the paint.

Their is one thing the Lakers has given the Nuggets all series, a plethora of un-contested 3's since the Laker knows the Nuggets is not a good jump shot team. If the Nuggets can make the Lakers pay with those wide open shots, they will have an easy time to win in LA. The other I keep bring up is the Nuggets depth. This team don't sink or swim anyone because of a bad or good shooting game from Melo. Miller, Mcgee, Brewer, and Harrington has consistently given the Nuggets 35-40 points off the bench in this series.

If that explains the 22 pt Denver lead after three quarters, that's a lot of rolls that need to go the Laker way in game 7.

The Lakers are widely expected to win this, and that will probably happen. But they are surprisingly soft once you cut through their outer layer. And Denver knows it. Blood in the water. All depends on how sharp the Nuggets teeth are.

There is no pro sport that is shadier than the NBA. Does anyone think for a minute that the ref in jail for fixing games was the only one that was involved. He took the fall and didn't leak the other refs and numerous players that also were involved.
I actually feel sorry for the clueless fans that buy tickets and merchandise that fill the greedy pockets of a group of uncaring, selfish athletes.
Most of the NBA players are punks that only care about money, jewelry, tatoos and whores. Most could care less about who wins and they could give a rats ass about the fans.
There is no chance the Lakers lose a game 7.

The best of both worlds. Lakers win but DO NOT cover.

Thats David Stern working his magic.

They said that when Dallas beat them in game 1 that the fakeshow won't lose game 2, and when Dallas went 3-0, noway the fakeshow loses 4 in a row under Phil Jackson. The Refs in this series for the most part has been fair, unlike the 2009 Western Conference Finals game 5 in LA against the Nuggets when they handed that game to LA.

Just like past, Lakers tend to let series lead to slip, and then show up at the last moment. Typical Hollywood style. I expect a high energy game from both teams, probably a lot of foul shots. Lakers win, just because they are at home and refs will side with them.

I know, good play on LA... i realized LA was the play if they CAME to play... but I trusted the under even more than a side for the game. I remembered when LA went to a home game 7 vs Houston in 2008...which surprised everybody... and in that game 7 LA won by 19, 89-70... then I remembered LA home game 7 vs Boston in the Finals, LA won and it was another ugly low scoring defensive game. Game 7 unders are usually a great bet with the Lakers @ home... they actually try to play D and rebound!!!

Let's just make more money and beat the books
