Just think how they duped the tax payers into building a $600 billion dollar stadium that they needed so they could remain competitive.

Yep, nothing like a state being 5 billion in debt and forking over money to build a rich guy a stadium. Hell why don't I just buy a new Mercedes and then fly to Monte Carlo and play Antonius straight up for rolls.

Joe Mauer is the 2nd best hitter on that list.

The Mauer contract will ruin this team for the next decade. Thankfully my season tix are only a 40 game pack.

They still have the injured Morneau, though when was the last time he played anywhere close to a full season?

For any struggling franchise, why not move the walls in tithe max? You may still lose, but atleast fans will come to see exciting high scoring games

They made a grave mistake not trading Liriano when he still had any sort of value. Team had to know he was a rock head and should've cashed in when he was still relatively respectable. For as bad as their lineup is, their starters and bullpen is worse.

I doubt Morneau ever plays another game in the majors, and Mauer is basically a shell of his former self...they've also lost...Kubel, Thome, Cuddyer, Nathan, Young, Slowey, Valencia(been sent to the minors)

"Pretty good minus 1-2 players" may be the most laughable statement ever on this forum.

Gardenhire is the problem? Funny. Be lucky you still have him. Trevor Plouffe batting anywhere other than never, much less 7th is the problem. How bad do you have to be to bat behind THAT freaking guy?

Gardenhire is the worst postseason manager in the history of baseball. Not to mention the Twins have the worst record in all of baseball right now.

Yeah, we're the lucky ones .

Gardenhire has been shit in the post season but 78% of them games have been against the Yankees and the Yankees own the Twins.

Right, because Gardenhire fell apart against Yankees pitching as we all saw.

He's also the reason Morneau's always hurt, Mauer's overpaid, and Trevor Plouffe has a job. Yeah, fire him.
