    Just wanted to thank everyone (shout out to jjgold)

    Just a broke college kid living in nyc (nyu student)...have slowly begun to improve as a handicapper, trying to make some decent money to enjoy this goddam city, you guys fuckin inspire me to do my homework (jj) and just make good picks. the motivation I get from this site has paid off huge for me the past two weeks and i'm now at levels of betting i didnt think id hit for years...just wanted to share my story...ill link the bets also.     i had them -115 for the series after they won game 1 i think dsi just had it labeled incorrectly

    i made this parlay after preds won game 1, flyers won game 1, kings won game 1, and rangers won game 1...all the prices were correct after those games

    I disagree Ive always made smart plays and I think my limitations were due to bankroll size, now I can start doing a standard 50 dollar bet per game and really grow the bankroll

    how are you going to "really grow the bankroll" if you have 5k and are betting $50/game?

    you really think you can be up 100 bets, what are you going to do go 430-300 over your next 730 bets

    I mean growth to me is making maybe 300-500 dollars, not trying to be a pro just trying to make some side cash, maybe 100 dollars would be a more appropriate bet size, dont see why I couldnt make another 800 to a 1000 with that size bet which would be about 20 percent growth from where I am now. You don't have to be an asshole, just trying give some props to people who grind at this everyday

    i know i don't HAVE to be an asshole, but i choose to be one sometimes

    that makes sense the way you put it. but it's going to be hard to make $50 bets and get excited when you just hit $3000 on one

    I can def agree with this...I did go a little crazy putting a 1000 on the lakers game 2 ml just for the thrill luckilly I won that. Just have to learn the discipline and sprinkle in a crazy parlay here and there to try and hit even bigger

    Nice hits, I made almost 10 grand doing parlays like that. Then lost 12. Start betting very very very very small. Those kinds of wins come once in a great while. Rangers didn't take that series easily. $ management #1 problem in capping, but good on ya for the wins
