Trading a star pitcher for some bats on a team that lacks offense does not look suspicious. It wouldn't be the first time someone was traded to improve a team overall and in the future.

Obviously you will get variances like BAL/BOS going for 17 innings but even if that happens you can work out that Baltimore was supposed to win anyway. Its all situational. You don't know that PHI/WSH was not supposed to go over. If you remember, PHI had a huge chance in a previous inning with bases loaded and nobody out. From a purely mathematical perspective, that game was destined to go over. Yea not saying u said it was easy but it seems to be mentioned by some posts during nfl and nba losing streaks. I think degens just like a daily sport like mlb where its easier to get more right compared to spreads, also more stats to back ur picks as "logical"

I try to avoid totals because of the bullpen factor. So many horrible arms who have no business being in baseball, like ex-Tiger Ryan Perry who is a total bum. You never know when a team falls behind 4-1 and just decides to wave the white flag by rolling some piece of shit out there to make it 7-1 in a hurry.
I was actually the other way on that one Buck. Surprised the Phils' ML was so low. Hamels has been one of the best starters in baseball so far this season and the Nats never hit in Zimmermann's starts.
