    Pauls boutique was brilliant , one of the best albums I ever heard for samples. Great videos and great film makers, Brilliant band.

    Sad most people will only remember fight for your right to party . He was such a creative guy in film and music, their videos still crack me up. RIP Adam.

    There will never be another group like Beastie Boys. It was a good ride watching them grow and mature as musicians.

    My mom took me to see them on the 'Licensed to ill' tour when I was 10. Could have seen them 15 times since then, but kept putting it off.

    I consider Paul's Boutique one of the most underrated albums of all time. It's sort of a blessing and a curse that it came out at a time when very few people could recognize how brilliant it was because it sounded nothing like anything that was popular at the time.

    I was trying to find Egg Man but I couldn't find a decent video for it so I'll post this song instead...

    Here is the video from their live concert in scotland, how can you not love a rap band and a dj that samples rush, the sample is at the 1:10 mark
