Nba players that made careers out of being bench warmers.

Crazy some of these guys that are still in the NBA after so many years. You got players like ronnie price, luke walton, royal ivey, jarren collins who all been in the league 5+ years and never really averaged over 4 points a game( waltons 1 season and a few other minor stints with these players. Yet they continue to play and take a salary every year.

Then i see players that got traded or had 1 bad year and could never play again on a nba team...

Starbury, steve francis, brevin knight, claxton, boykins, Maurice taylor. Just a few off top of my head.

Is ronnie price just that good of a practice squad player or what. Seems like theres always much better players in the d league or non retired nba players that would work for the same pay and do a better job.

Point of this thread. Props to horrible players that have 10 year careers never making a impact whatsoever in the league.

scalabrini at least hit some shots and played a role on boston and was in the rotation for a few years. Jacque Vaughn and Michael ruffin are others that come to mind.

    Chuck Nevitt.

"Although playing for nine years, Nevitt appeared in only 155 games, playing a total of 826 minutes, which equates to fewer than 18 complete NBA games."
