take for instance the op who posted a video of spring training when he was slumping because of mechanics which have been repaired for over a month
I posted this thread after watching him in his MLB debut. I didn't like some things in his swing but there were no recent videos out there so I found one from spring training that showed what I felt could be some balance and timing issues I noticed in his debut.

He's getting it done though, I have no problem being wrong and nothing against him

whats your point? kirk nieuwenhuis is hitting .310 as a rookie in 24 games. he's proved he can hit big league pitching, yet he isn't being called "the chosen one"

Not exactly what I'd call a sample size worthy of mentioning.

Harper's bat speed is too good for him to not reach all-star level. The real question is more whether he'll be a hall of fame type player.

Staving off injuries is going to be big though... The way this guy plays with reckless abandon it isn't going to be easy. Anyone see him in the Dodgers series run like a mad man into the wall to make a catch? Reminds me of Grady Sizemore in the way he plays although he has more raw talent. Sizemore is breaking down big time though...

Hard to say how he will be

His swing is long which could spell trouble

    Time will tell
