Game tonight I am very suspicious of..........

Giants with Cain against Reds with Latos.

Latos has been pretty much a gas can since opening day.

Matt Cain has back to back shutouts, 2 hitter and a 1 hitter, and has looked like Greg Maddux, Pedro Martinez, and 1968 Bob Gibson all rolled into one pitcher while doing so.

Giants are coming off a sweep against the Mets yesterday, are actually scoring runs, and the Reds don't hit Cain very well.

This game is -105 'pk, on paper Cain and the Giants should be -128 road favorites in this spot.

I think the Giants are going to be a very square public play tonight at -105, Joe Hamburger thinking "I'll take the Giants with the hot pitcher against the gas can Latos at even money, can't lose, right?"

Didn't say I was going to wager the Reds (I might, I might not) but I got this feeling Cain doesn't pitch a lights out near perfect shutout for the third time straight.

    Just saying...........

Giants are such the logical play.
Did Vegas make a small error with the opening line is what I am asking really?
Will there be a correction this afternoon?

I'm going to watch the line movement on this game. I'm curious.

Games like this **** with my mind, if you bet the Giants, and they lose, you say to yourself "I knew I should have laid off" If you bet the Red and they lose, you say to yourself "I'm an idiot for fading Cain, and I got mindfucked by the opening line"

Sometimes you just have to go with the better pitcher and better team. I love the price and don't care if it is square. It's about $$ not about looking SHARP.

Public bets win sometimes too ya know ...

You'd be surprised, for the most part, MLB runs a clean game, but every now and than, there's a suspicious game, not saying this is one of them, but when you got a league that plays 4800 or so games a schedule, there are a few that slips in there.

I'm not going to, it's a good topic to talk about on a Tuesday afternoon. I'm off all week, vacation, just chilling out locally, thought I'd throw it out there while I was farting around on the computer.

yeah, this one looks very fishy...you have latos, who although has not started well, is a solid pitcher (and i believe he has seen a LOT of the giants from back in his SD days) and also throwing 18 innings in 2 games has to be at least a little taxing for cain...i think its either reds or no play, i personally am staying away

Reds have some great OPS numbers against Cain...forget the avg. Won't be able to say this too often, but Ludwick might actually matter tonight. GL!

simple really. Giants just coming off a double header, than traveling. going to have a hang over affect. Posey probably wont be in the line up. and I noticed alot of the times when teams put up good amount of runs in double headers the bats are quiet the next day. just a theory

you're all over thinking it. if there was a sure fire way to predict outcomes base on days off, double headers, what the starting pitchers ate for breakfast, then we'd all be rich

You guys think that 80% number of bets is accurate???
That number means nothing and is not accurate and just say it was fairly accurate it does not have enough wide range of books to make it worth anything

Takes awhile for Latos to warm up...he is a stellar 0-8 on the month of April since 4/26/10 getting blasted by an average of 4.7 runs. Conversely, he is 19-12 since 2010 in the month's May (8-4), June (6-4) and July (5-4).

GIANTS SCORE FIRST -140 .......Good Value in this Bet

LATOS has allowed the opponent to score first in every one of his three starts this year. Reds may keep it tight late in the game , however with the heavy hitters both starting today(Sandoval/Posey) I think Giants will strike early on Latos. I see great value in this bet. Good Luck!
