Really? So you want to raise taxes on the poor and the middle, cut government spending, primarily through social program elimination, raise defense spending proportionally, and eliminate most regulations?
America wasn't called the land of the robber barons, it was called the land of opportunity. What I want is to see the strongest economic growth in history, the fastest increase of the standard of living of the average person ever, and a land where the average income is double what it is in Europe. Taking over 90% of someone's income is closer to slavery than what I want.
If your ideas are so great, you wouldn't have to use threats of violence to get people to comply, you would already be doing it. Amazing the Amish can create their own communities where they live the lifestyle they want, but socialists can't.Comment -

In reality, what ended child labor wasn't regulations, it was free market capitalism. Before that, when the policies you advocate were the law of the land, children worked on the family farm or did other jobs so they could do things like eat. As industrialization took over, those jobs moved from the farm to the factory, and as parents' incomes increased, it got to a point where they no longer needed to rely on the child to work, the parent could afford to provide for the family themselves, so the kids got to go to school.

No, it's you and your system. Again, under my system, child labor was eradicated due to parents making enough money they didn't need kids to support the family. The only times in history when a typical family was wealthy enough for children not to have to work was during the Renaissance, and during the Greek & Roman empires. In all instances, that wealth was created by giving the average person more freedom (my system), and in all instances, it was lost when average people decided that they wanted to be taken care of by the government (your system).
You don't think jails are full of people who didn't pay what people like Bernie Sanders is their fair share, ingested a substance he didn't want them to ingest, ran a business in a way he didn't want, etc? Every single restriction of freedom and taking of property you and Bernie want is backed by threats of violence for non compliance.Comment -

Are you really arguing that without that regulation parents would pull their kids out of school and make them work in factories for pennies an hour? If you're sane and know that won't happen, then you know there is also no need for that regulation. How would the private sector take advantage of that, kidnap kids? You don't think that less regulations = kidnapping is legal, right?

Orphans are typically wards of the state or adopted, kids in 3rd world countries are very poor and those kids work due to lack of better options. The PR nightmare these companies would go through if it came out that they employed 5 year olds would wipe any profits they made away and then some.

Looks like Sweden is now facing a much bigger problem, than just the increasing number of rapes. Swedish libs are literally destroying their own country with this refugee open-door policy and I have a feeling that it's already too late for them to turn things around.
And even though we sit next to each other on the map, Russia seems to be quite the opposite of the rest of the Europe where all governments, the entire Media-apparatus, all respectable elected politicians and the entire educational system work toward the Califatization of the entire European continent.
Sweden to become a Third World Country by 2030, according to UN
According to UN projections, Sweden will be a much poorer country by 2030, much worse than what anyone in the Swedish government indicates.
The UN report HDI (Human Development Index) predicts a significant decrease in Swedish prosperity, unlike their Nordic neighbors, who will retain their top positions and even strengthen them globally in the long run.
In 2010 Sweden had the 15th place in the HDI rankings but according to UN forecasts, Sweden will be #25 in 2015, and in 2030 on the 45th place.
Sweden is one of few countries with such a sharp deterioration from what it had in 2010.
Finland demonstrates one of the world's best school systems, while the Swedish school have lost competitiveness.
Fewer ends up on welfare dependency in their Nordic neighboring countries while Sweden continues to have a greater amount of family households forced to live on welfare, which are a couple factors causing the dropped global competitiveness.
Negative developments, or rather liquidations can be exemplified by Orrefors Kosta Boda, which in 1992 had 940 employees in Sweden and was a profitable industry. Today less than 100 remain in the company after further cost reductions and adaptations in order to meet global competition.
Most of today's less developed countries such as Cuba, Mexico, the Baltic countries and Bulgaria according to the 2030 UN report will be passing Sweden in prosperity.
Even Greece, which today is more or less bankrupt, but will be on 13th place by 2030.
Sweden's leftist establishment and media believe a cornerstone of their perfect society is multiculturalism: large scale immigration from some of the poorest, most backward nations on earth. Swedes who disagree with that plan risk being labeled racist, fascist, even Nazi.
