    Who's your favorite sports writer

    Mine is def. Bill Simmons. As a new englander obviously it is nice to have someone who loves the same teams as I do but his mailbags and pieces on grantland are awesome. He makes them all very interesting and is actually intelligent unlike most of ESPN writers. What are you guys favorites?

    Like Simmons too most of the time even though I hate all Boston/NE teams and he can be a cocky prick.

    But like his NFL stuff, picks, podcasts and him guessing lines and always talking about gambling.

    Best ever was Allen Mallumud of the old LA Hearld Examinar and LA times.I would get the LA Examinar everyday for a quarter keep the sports page throw the rest of the paper out he died i think in late 90s his column on mon,wed,friday was a must read they do not make guys like him anymore.
