if your not an SBR PRO..what are you waiting for..big advantages to being one at SBR

i read so many posters and contributors that have solid info and participate but are not SBR PROS.

Its so easy even in this environment to be a post up player at one of these books listed above.

being an SBR PRO is like being given a chance to get paid to be active here.

the daily free points, the trivia, bonus offers in the SBR book, poker, the amazing casino Blackjack specials, overlays, fun contests, side bets, lots of things.

plus and more important the great info you get by reading the info here that can help your actual money account at one of these top shops grow as well.

in less than 33 minutes you can fill in the application, pick a book, go to a pay to pay site, post up and be running..and 3 days later your application would be confirmed...

    ----

if your not a PRO now why not?

How does one become a pro now without being able to do it through a sportsbook deposit?

Dont understand the uproar on being a Pro. Wouldnt you guys prefer a person being a winning gambler and consistently posting winners rather than dumping $200 to some shit charity (JJs pocket) to become a "pro." Real pros dont need validation by dumping 200.

+1. Expect a steady increase of store prices. Eventually you will need to roll over your daily points. Sooner or later it will be c.en.tsports, if it isn't already. Still fun to dick around with the points I guess. When all is said n done I will most likely remain Pro as long as I don't have to go outta my way to jump through hoops. I got the $ set up at shops so why not?

Only reason to become a pro is to give other player points - that's the only reason why I would become one.

Other than that it is basically playing with change.

The only reason I see to become pro is if your a non American player

Sportsbooks cash and sell your points via moneybookers if your not American

I have been a pro for months. Do not see much of interest. Nickle and dime stuff that I already have too much of. Got an I pad sitting in a file cabinet at work and a Sony Tablet (still in the box, won it on another site) don't need much else there.

Points do not interest me, can't be bothered with the sportsbook. My step kid fires off the odd zillion to one parlay or I give them away.

Have been receiving a ton of spam since I joined as well not sure if that is from here or the crap sportsbook I deposited to but it is a nuisance none the less.

    What am I missing?

I have till August 2013 to decided if I want to stay Pro.

It is getting really watered down as of late. Sneaky store price increases isn't helping.

It is becoming more of a Non-US program.

But it is fun to tinker with, because you can do some stupid sh!t that you wouldn't do with real money.
If by some chance it pays off, you are able to collect on it, and not just get a hat/shirt.

It's still +EV, but you're right, not quite the deal it used to be. Before all the changes it really was silly not to turn Pro if you used offshore books and even if you used locals or lived in Vegas it was still worth it to post up and turn Pro.

It's still free pizzas, Ipads etc. You will still get free stuff even if it takes you longer than it did two years ago. Actually, the store increases coincide with more ways to win points. Meaning, for the guy who logged in and out some days just for points, it's going to take him longer and he'll feel a price increase. For the guy who is a real SBRer and spends time on site, he plays trivia, contests and more and more poker, he'll get his ipad sooner and see a virtual decrease.

bill that's really putting a positive spin on it. i agree you will still get free stuff, it's becoming tougher for u.s. players to justify unless you're like me and get a lot of fun out of it.
the 11 pts/day for poker is the one that really stung, it's as if you have to play every day to have a chance at the championship but when you're running bad you go a week or two only getting 1 pt/day.

for those that have their doubts that anyone gets anything, check my 2 ipad badges this year. had to borrow 10,000 points though which might take me all year to pay off.

poker, lol. The poker means you get a point a day. If you happen to be in the top 20, you have to spend a good time rolling it over. Not worth it.

A few years ago trivia was paid without a rollover. More poker? Sure, for 11 points. Contests? Sure for a points entrance fee. Funny how you try to make it seem like things are better. With all the pop up adds you would think it is better, but it is worse.

If it was still a sportsbook sponsor renewal method, easily be one again. At this point, it's not even worth it.

I live in Vegas, and not dealing with the ofshore industry. I did it for two years @5D, and it pales in comparison to physically walking into a sportsbook to cashout. SBR Pro program has more benefits for the parent company than its members

I cashed out 4k and a bunch of pizza that is pretty good for doing something I was going to do anyway. Even if I have to light my $200 on fire next year it is still worth it.

I've lurked here for a while and don't post too often. I've been debating getting more into it and going pro. Has anybody used the "Fantasy Sports" that accept deposits to go pro before? Seems interesting.
