I don't understand it at all.. But I don't think they would take the thunder in 7.. but who knows. it's insane.

Wasn't the Spurs on a tear like this last year and the Grizzlies shut them down in the playoffs?

The big difference between this year and last is health. Ginobili got injured in one of the last games, if not the last game of the regular season and played very few minutes during that series and Timmy badly sprained his ankle and was hobbled much of the series against the Grizz. I'm not trying to slight what the Grizz did last year, they were playing good ball, but need to put it in it's proper perspective. This year's Spurs team is deeper, Parker has become more the focal point and really is making it his team and the pick-ups of Diaw and SJax were huge.

too bad depth means nothing in the playoffs...championship teams have a solid 8 man rotation...spurs are running a 10 man, come playoffs rotation will be screwed up players won't know how many minutes they'll be getting on a night to night basis=doomsday for spurs

Spurs still cruising, Jazz not putting up much of a fight.
This is the Spurs year, everyone else is playing for second place.

because they are beating up a jazz team that barely made the poffs?? - rockets / suns would have matched up better
