    dictator stern moves the wnba as a package with the nba so espn has to kiss their ass and promote this shit otherwise the league is an even bigger failure than it already is....there's nothing worse than seeing wnba commercials during the nba playoffs

    I respect you Mike, so wouldn't get in any debate... I didn't take into account the days worked. Also, in reality, it is still a joke in my opinion if a PRO ATHLETE salary takes in less than a real job for a year.. What is she gonna do, work at kinkos for a few months for 10 bucks an hour.. Maybe Train other kids to play Bball?.. they all want to do that.

    I know people in the television industry that make GREAT money, but they get 6 months off a year unpaid.. So how much are they really making if you incorporate that half year salary to a yearly salary.. You are not doing as well as you could maybe..

    I do however, appreciate your opinion, and I'm drunk and prob believe you are right once I sober up..

    They play in europe when wnba season is up ... playing a game vs having a real job not a hard choice. With a proper agent she'll make well over 100k a year. i take my brothers girls to sparks games i'd rather watch skylar diggins shes easy on the eyes or grinner from baylor but O will do.

    They make all of their money in Europe during the Winter/Spring. @ the begininng of the WNBA season, many of the players are still in Europe playing. They trickle in as the season matures.
