Remember before radical socialist feminism where most women were stay at home moms

If Romney wasn't socialist light himself he had an opening to say that a few decades ago the government manipulated women to force them to be workers. There definitely was a conspircy 10 fold to get women in the workforce. The government wanted more workers paying taxes? The government wanted dysfunction in families where kids would turn sour where families would break up making the government the bread winner daddy of the family?Whatever government's motive was to get women in the workforce instead of staying home raising kids,it sure worked out well for the socialist social engineers that wanted a failed society rellying on government.

Romney could really make hay on this matter but he chooses not to because he's just Obama lite.

WWII turned this all around. Women started jumping into the workforce because it was their patriotic duty. They actually enjoyed getting an income for their hard work, and it snowballed from there.

It's incredible how many incompetent women there are at my current job - they're mostly illiterate when it comes to any kind of technical and operational skills. Even more disturbing is that most of them are either new or long-standing moms, so they shouldn't be working anyway.

A lot of sbr posters are intimidated by women..

Many of them were sexually in love with their moms but no dice

Were those the days when women stayed at home and raised a family, had happy marriages, stayed married to their husbands, and weren't lesbians?

I hate to call out my fellow brothers, but I think many women joined the work force due to the failure of men. Now I think we can all agree that 99% of women don't want to work, but they are forced to because the man isn't making enough money to support his family by himself.

The reason why man has failed is up for speculation. Whether it's men are simply too lazy these days, too much job competition to drive down wages, inflation, overpopulation, over-education, over-taxation, or any combination is debatable. Long gone are the days when a simple steel worker can support an entire family.

What horrible times those pre Reagan and "free trade" years must have been when executives only made 60 times what workers made and you could raise a family from an honest day's work. Thank gawd we got rid of that.

Nowadays if a janitor tries to fight for a living wage or hotel maids actually negotiate one, it's a "disaster" according to GOPtv(fox 'news').

now both spouses work, higher divorce rates, kids in day care, etc

people are so dumb they actually thought working for the man instead of taking care of your family is empowering

You think executives make too much and rank and file workers don't make enough?

Open up your own business and invest your entire life and tons of capital in that business and if it succeeds you can decide how much to pay management and your employees.

Turd, you are NOT in any position to tell any business owner how much to pay his employees and you NEVER WILL BE.

If a janitor or a hotel maid believe they aren't being paid enough for the job they are doing, they have every right to leave that job and go find another one that pays a salary that they feel they are worth. If they are unable to do so, what do you think that means?

There are millions of liberal democrats making $30,000/year or less trying to tell multi-million dollar business owners how much they should be paying their employees, how much they should be paying in tax, etc. Its just another example of how easy it is to spend other people's money.

If liberals spent as much time trying to better themselves as they do whining and screeching about how unfair everything is, perhaps they would become successful themselves (BUT I DOUBT IT, LOL).

Yeah, because those millionaire CEOs are the ones who build those businesses up in 99.99% of cases.

Furthermore, none of those CEOs who actually did form their businesses on their own ever got any assistance from the US government during their formative years. They never relied on the power of the US currency or any other benefit provided by the government that allowed them to accumulate wealth. They did it completely on their own with no help from and benefits from living in a wealthy nation with a strong powerful government enforcing their trade rights overseas. They never relied on the government funding infrastructure for them to ship their goods or to allow people to go to their businesses to perform their services. They never relied on to inspect ports for counterfeit goods coming into the country that would trade on their good name. Shame on the US government for attempting to steal their money, and never having given them anything in return at all. And their companies certainly don't continue to rely on everyone one of those same things while in many cases keeping their money overseas away from US tax laws.

Back to the CEO's themselves, do you honestly believe the growing disparity of wealth in this country is a good thing? That increased wage differentiation between the rich and poor, which is happening, is good?

Do you really think that people complaining about this growing gap between rich and poor are just a bunch of whiners who would only be successful if they just spent more time trying to better themselves?

If given all the data that's out there if you really believe that this widening gap is a good thing that doesn't need to be addressed somehow there's really no hope for you. We can quibble about the solutions, but if you can't even admit there's a problem I don't even know what to tell you.

Might as well just prepare yourself for the US to look like China as far as working conditions are concerned.

they certainly sacrificed alot, and they didn't get to do 1% of what they wanted to do, luckily we at least get to see them enjoy their retirement. I apologize a few times a year when I see them, for how much of a brat and delinquent I was.

I know pay back would be a bitch for me if I had kids of my own.

I think we'll travel the world instead

Women sufferage was a great way to take control of the population boom, mainly seen in the 50's for US.

Give a girl the ability to get an education or an honest job, instead of just being a child-bearer, and poof - they stop having as many kids.

The trick is trying to give every woman everywhere the same ability, and over population would fix itself.

Whether it is good for the moral fiber of the world is a whole different debate. It is also rare that a single income family can afford a life.

It was when the feminist movement gained steam in the 70's. Until then women knew their place (kitchen).
