"We determine this service charge based on a number of factors that affect the cost of operations.

Please note that though this fee may sometimes seem high, in comparison to other ticket marketplaces our total cost is almost always the lowest on the web, especially as compared to other full service providers. We openly encourage customers to alert us if they find tickets for a lower price with any of our competitors - we will always strive to provide the lowest possible price."

Stubhub (probably the leader in this type of ticket market) charges:

"The service fee is up to 10% of the total price of the tickets in your order (or a $5 minimum, where applicable) and may vary by event."

That doesn't include shipping by the way.

You know what's funny about that.. It's an E-ticket through email and charging 25 for shipping.. lol..

Me and the wife wanted to go to the Rangers game and get Rink side seats but that fee is a bit too much even for us.. So much for that plan..

there is likely a premium tacked on in that $76 because it is a playoff game

It was a great price, but vividseats shouldn't be making more money off that because they see a bargain when it's not their ticket they are selling.. doesn't seem right to me..I guess they can do whatever they want, I'll probably get it from somewhere else, see if I can still get some descent seats..

in their defense, their selling fee is only 10% while stubhub is 15%. but hard to justify those buying fees.

Right don't get me wrong like their 10% is fine which is usually their standard, they need to mak emoney too no doubt about that. But fluctuating your prices to their advantage is another story, the fee they are charging here is over 20% which I think is a bit extreme. But you know, as people say don't like it, move on. Lol
