If you hold a Kentucky future, can you skip hedging the Louisville game tomorrow?

I would hate to waste money taking Louisville and the points in a Kentucky blowout, and I would hate to do nothing and they get upset outright. Help a guy out.

i would hedge a reasonable amount on louisville ml. getting +400 odds means you do not have to risk much. i would not be shocked if ku wins by 20 or if louisville wins straight up. anything can happen really

If you really think Kentucky will win, put a bet on Louisville money line to cover your initial bet in case Kentucky loses. Either you break even or you are 1 win away.

Do you expect to get a line good enough to hedge the championship as well as Louisville (each enough to cover the initial bet) for cheaper than your initial bet? (I do).

If so, I don't see why not. Guaranteed money is good.

I would probably wait until halftime of the game and reevaluate.

As long as Kentucky is within 7 or 8, you'll have the ability to hedge. I can't imagine they won't be.

And if Kentucky throttles them early, you'll have nothing to worry about.

If you felt comfortable putting money on KY to win it all before the tournament, you should feel even better now

something tells me Louisville is going to play dirty tonight though. I think Pitino has something up his sleeve.

Calipari said Kentucky is the only basketball school in Kentucky

“It’s a unique thing,” Calipari said. “There’s no other state, none, that’s as connected to their basketball program as this one. Because those other states have other programs. Michigan has Michigan State, California has UCLA, North Carolina has Duke. It’s Kentucky throughout this whole state, and that’s what makes us unique.”
If you don’t see that as an obvious and blatant jab at Rick Pitino and Louisville, then you are very delusional.

“Four things I’ve learned in my 59 years about people,” Pitino told CBSSports.com on Wednesday.“I ignore the jealous, I ignore the malicious, I ignore the ignorant and I ignore the paranoid. If the shoe fits anyone,” he added. “Wear it.”

Pitino also Caliparri will learn not to make comments like that. I got a feeling Lousiville strategy is come out and punch Kentucky in the mouth. I wouldn't be shocked to see some elbows flying , some knees to the nut sack, hard fouls etc.. Louisville is going to full court press all game.

only thing is Louisville shooters couldn't hit water if they fell out of a fukking boat. Other than being more experienced and having no pressure the only other advantage Louisville is going to have is nobody is going to be shooting well in this final four b/c of the big venue they are playing in. Everybodys shot will be off. If you are going to score a bucket it will be from close range.

neither team will score over 50 points tonight but kentucky might still beat the ass 44-28 or something

    in all seriousness

my advice is ALWAYS hedge. No matter what. I have learned this the hard way. No game is ever a lock.

oh shit yeah it depends on the odds you got. Say you got kentucky at +500 for 5,000 then you hedge.

say you got $200 on Kentucky +200 then don't hedge. it all depends on the numbers

are you kidding this is the Final Four and you're not going to hedge ?

get real pal you could lose the whole thing.

Pitino has brought a team to the FF in four decades straight.

if you don't hedge don't be surprised if Lou pulls an upset

No need to hedge. That said, if you like the Cards + points, put some cash on them. Otherwise, let it ride.

In that case, I'd say, don't hedge.
