If you're thinking of depositing at Betonline, Don't.

Not one good thing about this book. And you will regret every bit of it if you deposit here.

What didn't you like Dudley? They have a pretty good wagering menu and high limits and they'll often be a half point different than say Bookmaker.

You shouldn't deposit into any book who is located in a country who's official currency is the USD

Despite opening the numbers in a number of sports early as soon as cris releases they mirror them within seconds... Also within seconds they adjust in unison with pinnacle on American sports the majority of time so they clearly have software that facilitates their air moves...

Although there are some unique things I like (such as 10 cent hockey lines and spread / total betting on tennis) I also wasn't too happy with them over their cashout procedures...

I sent an email inquiring about rollover (since they weren't able to check in live support) and was told I met it and could put in a payout request. Two days later they cancel my request (without notifying me) so after an another live chat session I find out I have to send documentation... Three days after submitting this (again without contact despite the form email saying they would be reviewed in 24 hours) I have to contact them over both live chat support and over the phone to get them to approve them...

I've also been wanting to try out their poker since they are on an unique network but leery of doing this before I reduce my balance as I don't want delay a payout even more based on the multiply threads here about their interesting procedures for those who choose to play poker there...

Ran into the same cancellation without notification thing, really annoying. I submoiited documentation by fax and asked that my request be reinstated. It wasn't.Now, after 7 days and an online 3rd request, I am awaiting "handler approval". It's like pulling teeth so far. Maybe some folks do, but I don't like getting my teeth pulled. And I miss big time the old reduced juice program that I was with for 8-9 years.

I suggested avoiding as well. Of course, it just get chalked up as mistakes but there have been repeated attempted thefts in their poker room, in fact the few cases that were not resolved, I side with player. Not because I think the player is innocent but because BetOnline has shown their incompetence on multiple occasions and proven they have no clue how to regulate their own poker room. They are confiscating funds off only suspicion, so by my tally they are approaching $200,000 in player thefts.

Additional they suck at bookmaking and have unjustly voided bets in cases where there is enough reason to believe it was their own handicapping mistakes and not a clear line error. If you're going to put the game on the board first, and move the line 3 times, then says oops we were way off, let's call this an obvious line error (LOL) and void the bets - then you don't belong opening lines. How do players know it's an obvious bad line when they pulled stuff like this for week in advanced football lines. (The average player is going off gut feel, and has no clue how to cap their week in advanced football offers).

Finally support department sucks, as does management. In mid 2011 more known crooks joined the team.

I'd group them along side SBG Global, WagerWeb, etc. Nothing wrong with using those two or BetOnline so long as you understand the risks. This is a book to beat up on - not a good one for recreational players.

For recreational players see the top of this forum where it says "Poster's Sportsbook Poll" that's the advice to take. I don't expect BetOnline ever makes that list.

Worst book I have ever played at.

Fukkin impossible to get any kind of answer out of anybody. The only way to get any info from anybody here is to send an email to what ever one of the 50 departments you have issues with and nobody ever responds to the emails. Live chat reps are all fukkin morons who do nothing but give you the run around.

I can not see a book staying in business when their communication with their customers is so poor.

I think they are much safer than these other lower books. They make mistakes, but they are not systematically mugging players with no recourse. If you get mugged by SBG or WagerWeb, you are out of luck. Me suggested they pay players in the past, and the players were not paid. If you are in the right, and SBR agrees with you, Betonline will probably pay you. In fact, I don't think they ever refused to pay a player when SBR recommended that they pay. That is a HUGE difference.

thing is many of the issues people have with betonline .. they should not have been an issue in the first place ! not only do u have do u have to win ur wager .. but u have to sweat getting payed too ! on top of there fees and shit

that is no way to treat customers .. I rather have -110 lines with a book that offers free payouts once a month and has good CS something like betislands perhaps and 5dimes .. rather then be with 1 that offers reduced juice but has horrible CS .. Customer service is VERY important ! u should not have to go through so much BS just to get payed YOUR OWN MONEY .

They don't seem to appear anywhere in the latest Poster's Poll. All you need to know?
The people working together with them (like Sbr, sadly) tried very hard to cover BOs shady past, and still shady people working there.
It won't work, this book will go down in flames, 100% agree with the OP you would be a fool to risk getting burned.

I've been with them for 3 weeks by accident; was trying to get Pro Status & did not know they changed the rules for U.S. players. Withdrew from them a week & half after depositing via person to person. After sending in verification documents, I recieved a withdrawl approval email 24 hours later after sending out a request. There was no tracking info for my withdrawl in the email so I went straight to live chat & got it. They finally emailed me 7 hours later saying I had to goto live chat for the info after the fact lol.

So far so good. Knock on wood.

Justin do you have any theory about why they seem to make so many mistakes? And have such trouble responding to customer emails in a timely way? And such a lack of coordination between departments?

This is fair IMO... I don't like having to jump through hoops to get a withdraw but, in this case, I think it more caused by customer service issues (or in the case of the poker disputes likely incompetent game security verification) rather then risk and safety of the book which is why I'm willing to continue to play there while currently I wouldn't be involved with either SBG or WW...

Betonline is one of the better books available to US players. When a guy opens a thread like this without further explanation I give you 10 to 1 that he lost at the book. But wait. Not all his lost. In the post right above this one he found a free $11 play. Everybody happy.

i was cracking up reading this thread...someone actually posted something like.."their betting options are great but its a real hassle getting a payout"...the only reason anyone should play at any book is because you get paid promptly and without any aggravation...any book that has you running around photocopying stuff like a douchebag and faxing them just to get your money is a joke...slow pay, stall tactics, cancelling payouts etc...thats garbage...books like betonline love to hold your money hostage and make payouts hell so you will get aggravated and blow it back....unless you are depositing using a CC, no book should be even asking you for any documentation..what a joke.

Have you received payouts from them? Don't know OP, but there does seem to be a lot of non-agenda voices across forumville saying that they're at best wildly organized. I'd like to play their WNBA in-game and next CBB season if they're going to keep putting up those openers, so I would love to hear from a bunch of people saying, "Once I got all the paperwork in I got paid promptly multiple times."

I don't know what the owners are thinking, because with such priced web name, they could be a top book if they invest enough in the customer service. It seems they are very disorganized.
