    I'd rather have Josh Johnson than Smith again but oh well. It was a nice pipedream. Didn't think it would happen then the media got in my head.

    Niners better hope Alex Smith does not go to Miami. Niners might have to go after Tebow.

    It be nice to see what Manning would do for a year or two but not a long term solution.

    Still surprised he picked Denver of all the teams.

    Seahawks sat back last year and watched Arizona self destruct with a 1 game stud signing. You would think they would learn. Nope, they go and do the exact same thing.

    Cassell=Kolb=Flynn

    Good Luck.

    Awful mouthy today there Harry. Hopefully Sidney's labia heals for the 4th time in 2 years or else we will be seeing a lot of beast mode.

    Wonder how he will look without the all star cast lined up wide.

    If Harbaugh can make Smith be successful, he can make anyone serviceable.

    Extremely replaceable.

    No shit. The guy had 1 good year then collapsed in the play offs and he's whining about his team trying to go after one of the best QBs ever??

    These people are in a pipedream or delusional. Why do they ignore the fact that he would never play in the same conference.

    Its just funny

    Was funny, on Sat morn ESPN had a crawl that said 49ers were one of the teams that were out of the running for Manning. By noon that message was pulled and they were announced as in it until the decision today.

    Its true that they were never in it, just someone playing the media.

    9ers will be better long term re-signing Alex Smith for three years then having kaep step in. they have a complete team now even with Alex Smith. He'll perform well but will never live down his past.
