If Bynum got the touches that Dwight did he'd put up near Dwight numbers. He's dominant. You can't trade him for anybody unless it's a superstar point guard or Dwight.

Are you joking? Bynum is a more dominant player and has better numbers across the board.

Bynum is more dominant but Gasol is more versatile. Their numbers are actually eerily similar.

If I'm getting Howard in return I'd rather give Bynum. If I'm getting a pg in return I'd rather give Gasol.
Bynum & Howard together make's no sense. But a core of Kobe W/ Gasol @ PF & Howard @ C looks good on paper. But, if it were for D. Williams I'd prefer keeping the younger peaking C than the aging PF. Kobe, D. Williams & Bynum looks nice as well.

    Kobe/Howard/Gasol > Kobe/Howard/Bynum
    Kobe/D. Williams/Bynum > Kobe/D. Williams/Gasol

Is this some sort of bad joke?

Granger is 28 years old....6'8" 225 pounder who's shooting .389% from the field and pulls down 4 rebounds per game. Nice player.......end of story.

Bynum is 24 years old....7 feet tall....weighs 285 pounds....has great feet and hands.....is shooting just under 57% from the field ...averages 17 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game (and alters many shots while also clogging the lane).

2nd best big man in the NBA for a nice small forward who is shooting under 40%

I thought it was a joke too. Granger is probably top 5 most overrated in the league, while Bynum is finally scratching the surface of dominant potential. If he got more touches his numbers would be out of this world.

This whole thread is a joke. Unreal.

Kobe's playing great with the young Bynum right now, Gasol will be dumped.

Who is more likely to get injured tomorrow and miss the rest of the regular season.....Bynum or Gasol?

That is the whole point....Bynum is great as long as he is healthy. But look at his track record. Trade Bynum now at his max value and get back Deron Williams and Kris Humphries.

Lakers will be set till 2015 at least with that team.

lakers should just stick with these 2 bigs, and get beasley from the trade without giving up much

I personally like the Scola/Lowry for Gasol deal if I'm the Lakers. I'm not trading Bynum unless it's for Howard or maybe Williams

If Jordan Hill pans out Lakers will be really good come playoff time. Like the Ramon Sessions pick up.....he is a solid PG that can control the tempo and rack up points and assists.
