    Peyton Manning meeting with Elway(Broncos)

DENVER - The electronic billboard on 56th Ave just East of I-25 re-entered the Tim Tebow debate Friday morning, asking fans to vote for Peyton Manning or Tebow as the Broncos quarterback, with a flashing arrow on the Tebow side. Steve Nehf, The Denver Post (THE DENVER POST | Steve Nehf)
Peyton Manning will be in Denver tonight visiting with the Broncos, according to two NFL sources.
    This is getting serious, folks.
Manning, arguably the most decorated free agent in NFL history, has the Broncos on his short list. The long-time Indianapolis Colts quarterback was released earlier this week amid concerns about his neck, a $26 million bonus payment and the team's opportunity to select highly prized quarterback Andrew Luck with the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft.
Manning, 36, has been cleared to throw by his neck specialist, Dr. Robert Watkins. One NFL source said Manning will also visit the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins after visiting with the Broncos. A source said Manning would like to make a

The Broncos have the No. 25 pick in the draft, plus the 25th selection in the second round. Weeden, who turns 29 in October, is considered the second-best passer to Luck in the draft. He is projected to be chosen between the Broncos' top two picks.
Manning will turn 36 in two weeks.

Or does Elway just want QB's there that he knows will never lead them back to the Super Bowl? That's the only excuse of not pursuing manning HARD

Yep , they would be right in the mix for the super bowl with that D and manning.
Trade tebow and get another receiver too

If this happens I could see Tebow get traded to Miami or Jax just for the fanfare...imagine another near-top selling jersey producing season for the NFL....revenue, revenue, revenue. Ride the gravy train till it breaks? Still think manning winds up in Miami though

Decker and Thomas with a QB that can actually throw would be unreal (provided Thomas stays healthy) he would/could be better than Wayne, and with what Manning turned Collie into, Decker would be even better..could truly live up to a Wes Welker rep

if decker and thomas stay healthy they have a good set right there....those guys could be very good...especially if they have someone like manning directing them and they have an offseason to familiarize themselves

I agree but Thomas it seems like has trouble staying healthy, and thats still not anywhere near a top 1-2 punch.

If I were any other team, I wouldn't really want Tebow....You'd think he'd be hard guy to trade for someone decent, maybe a 4th round draft pick or something.

its not like peyton is gonna have andre and calvin johnson with him......but decker really suffered from terrible qb play at minnesota especially his sr year....hes a pretty imposing physical presence....probably had a 2nd round grade on most teams boards( i know the pats really loved him but you cant get everyone you like)....him and thomas are both big and strong....and they can run a little too....thats really young, and enticing, pair of receivers and im sure its part of the reason that peyton is considering denver.....honestly i dont know if there are many teams with two young guys like that with as much potential

    It's weird that I agree.

Should probably sign with a dome team...Although most of them have QB's

It's perfect for them because they are going to take a huge amount of flak of they move the 2nd Jesus for anyone other than Peyton.

Even with Peyton they would still be no where near the top Receiving core in the NFL. No where.

nobody thought much of rod smith and ed mccaffrey either

they obviously wouldnt be the top wr corps in the nfl...but if you know anything about those two guys...they both have tons of potential....there might not be a duo of two receivers their age with as much potential...and if you add manning to the mix...they have something...i guarantee you the potential of those two guys is part of what has manning interested

wont happen Denvers o line too unstable. he needs a rock solid o line and someone who is willing to die protecting his blind side. ie Jake Long or Hutchinson
