This should make the final table more interesting. By our calculations the blinds will stop increasing around the final 5.

Thank you and to all others who have shared their feedback.

Hopefully this tweak makes the tournament more enjoyable for all involved.

I will try and play in this one. Saturday is a real bad day for me to play normally, but I might be able to get home in level 5 or so.

LOU, the changes are nice, but one more change would fix everything i think. Just have everyone start out with 5000 chips instead of 2500. That would only add around 15-20 minutes to the tournament

Why are poker points being paid for 10-20 when the 250 from 60 people covers the buy in pool. If betpoints are paid in full then shouldnt betpoints be paid out in full, since there is not overlay?

Yis and I made this same argument last week, ds. And of course you've got sbr employees playing too, who never seem to suffer a bad beat, wonder why? Man that steak/muff badge is pretty sweet dude!

I guess I didnt read previous threads about the tourney.

But just would seem that if they are taking 250 per person and raking 25 then what is the need for poker points, there is already a rake of 25 points?

I won't be able to make this one.

Guess I'm saving myself 275 points and a bad beat story.

I agree, Carseller! Can be tough making a final table - nice that the last two tables get paid.

Lou - I know it says top 20 get paid, but looking at the "Info" on the actually tournament it's saying top 9.

Edit by SBR Lou: It's because top 9 get betpoints. 10-20 get SBR Poker points (applied manually). We'll be making an upgrade soon so the prize can include multiple payment types automatically.

Looks like we're at level 10 after almost 90m. 11 players left. The blind change should allow some more play.

Probably a stupid question, but what's the difference between betpoints and poker points?

Poker points you need to rollover 3 times.

Got it, thanks. And therefore betpoints automatically come back into our regular account without the need for a rollover?

^^^ Yes, but like Seaweed you may not want to win regular points as a non-pro. You can only use rollover points at the poker tables until you become pro.
