The history is over 3 months and covers just over 100,000 hands during which time the player is slightly up but lost heavily in the last 3 sessions.
There are some absolutely sick runs (both good and bad) included in the sample but just to give an example there is a series where the player won 14 hands in a row, one where the dealer bust 16 times in 20 hands and where the player hit blackjack, 21 or 20 on 10 consecutive hands. There is also an instance of the player showing 9, 10 or 11 on 7 straight hands, doubling and losing every time.
When taking the sample as a whole, there is nothing to suggest that the game is not square.
Fear or lack of it isn't going to be a factor, you will have good streaks and bad streaks but even playing correctly/optimally the house has an edge and the longer you play the more likely it is that you end up losing. You can't win in the long run playing online blackjack.
