    Illi osu

I thought 15.5 was too much for OSU to cover, especially considering their performance lately.
I know OSU is a TON better than Illinois but I don't see where OSU has covered this type of spread vs. this type of team.
Also, when I remembered that one of OSU's earlier losses was to Illinois I wondered is it possible that the IllI can keep this game competitive from start to finish.
I'v been looking through the NCAA College Basketball Betting forum & couldn't find any info or opinions or advice for this game.

    Any help would be nice.

I think as it stands now I need to be convinced that OSU can in fact cover this spread or I am goin to lay a substantial bet on Illinois at +16

I'm staying away. It wouldn't surprise me to see either team cover but I could see ohio state rolling Illinois by 20+ pretty easily. Illinois have no heart and if they get down I imagine they will get buried. That being said Illinois could hit a few lucky 3's at the end to cover the big number with less Ohio state defense on them.

They could even be measly free throws at the end that screw you.
I think your right, I see someone in another thread has decided to take OSU 1st 1/2 at -8.
This is the thread & I'd have to agree, I did a little research & they do play an incredible 1st 1/2 after a loss, all year so far.
It is a nice alternative to betiing on the huger spread for the entire game.

There pretty much hasn't been a time that the "fighting" Illini have lost by more than 19 to Ohio State in recent years, even if they aren't playing up to competition, this spread is hard not to involve in a teaser if that's what you like. I wish I had grabbed @ 16, but I did grab 15 1/2 +5 teaser with Evansville, and New Mexico spread.

I just put in a parlay with GT OSU & your NM (which I overlooked)
    May I ask...Why Evansville?

similarly to Illinois, if you run the numbers on evansville they match up well vs. Creighton, infact Evansville beat Creighton SU this year. Generally past tendencies are predictors of future outcomes (obv. coaching changes, and class-change that perspective), also because Creighton is 1-5 ATS lately. Evansville +16 is not bad value, depending on how much money you bet.

Wasnt able to get a bet in on Evansville untill it was in play & it looks like I am still going to cover the inflated spread.
    Nice Pick!
I also overlooked that like Illi Evansville won SU this season vs. the Jays.

    Well done & thanks
