It's a free country and all that, but I put it in the same category as payday loan joints, buy here pay here scummy used car sales, and door to door salesmen who sell worthless crap to old people.

It's up to the person who is risking his/her own money to educate themselves.

Suppose there is a car dealer who is 100% honest about the quality and condition of the cars he is selling; if he is charging $3,000 more than his competitor across the street for the exact same car, is he somehow doing something immoral? No, it is the responsibility of the consumer to determine the fair market price of the car.

I don't see any difference when it comes to sportsbooks, provided they are operating honestly, paying out on time, etc. There is a plethora of free information available on sports betting. If people choose to ignore that, it's their own fault, IMO.

Payday loans takes advantage of the desperate and uneducated. The difference is the books don't charge usery rates for their money. In fact, the overseas books, we have to pay them upfront, and the only rate they are charging us is juice - which is 10% at most books for US players, or 5% at a reduced juice price.

10% is nothing in comparison to the 28%+ usery rate payday loan joints, and bad car dealerships make the consumer pay.

Books are nothing like the filth that is payday loans and places willing to sell you a marked up clunker at usery interest rates.

I have been greedy in the past, but lately, when I"m up $1,500 on the day and the night games are rolling in I've been laying off because $1,500 is good enough.

A year or so ago, I'd probably put $1,000 on the late game and try to make it $2,500.

Every body here is a winner. I wonder how does bookies make so much money. People talk like they know. You won a few bucks but it doesn't make u a winner it just encourage you to lose a lot in a near future.
