    I have heard both Michael Moore and Bill Maher make references to this, especially with regards to healthcare. They feel they are looking after the poor, so it is all justifiable in their book. A slippery slope indeed.

    What makes u think conservatives give the people what they want?? By that ideology ur saying that the average US citizen wanted to be heft with 13 trillion dollars of debt to date, 2 wars that "werent won" (aka LOST) and a dictatorial type government that took away ur citizens rights after 9/11 under what was proven to be false pretences...And all u fukks did was unzip and urinate over ur own constitution, bunch of scared fukk traitors living in ur fukkin police state...

    If you dont think thats dictatorial type behaviour then u really mustn't value your freedoms or at very least take them for granted....

    I mean I heard both of them say things like well if the people are too dumb to realize this is best for them, then make them accept it. They have little tolerance for those they disagree with that are intellectually below them....

    "Shove it down their throats if you have to" is not an uncommon leftist belief...They are also very willing to fight.

    Give people -inmates- what they need: food, water, shelter, clothes, medicines.
