K Rove pissed off at Clint Eastwood

Clint Eastwood narrating a SB advertisement about how Chrysler was resurrected and the fighting spirit of the USA has K Rove angry and offended. What a hand job this man is. C Eastwood of all people, Time called him Eastwood that is "an American icon known for his integrity and opinions that most people would consider patriotic" yet somehow K Rove fvcked it up. R can't seem to get anything right lately. Now this jerk off is bad mouthing C Eastwood and this advertisement. That didn't work very well Karl--but what has been working well lately? lol

JJ that is what it was about, plus the industry and the union made a ton of changes that allowed this to happen. It was hard work JJ. Everybody pitched in and saved an industry, it is a big deal. Big deal to many people. Including all Americans.

Rove is an intelligent guy, but very partisan. Not surprised he sees the commercial as an implicit endorsement of Obama and the Democrats.

After the watching the commercial again, I can see Rove's point. The halftime in America slogan can easily be interpeted to mean 4 years of Obama with 4 more to go.

If Detroit somehow makes a full rebound, in 20 years...will people remember Obama or folks like Rove and others who felt they should let the industry die.

I agree that the bailout was a good idea. However, I do think the commercial sounds like an endorsement for 4 more years. Even if they were talking about the recession that would still be the case. Not a supporter of Rove, as he was the mastermind behind George W's rise to the throne.

Im so tired of seeing people and industrys bailed out, today obama pretty much stole 25 billion from 5 different banks and is gonna give it to deadbeats who cant pay thier fukking mortgage, yet people like me who pay thier mortgages on time have to pay more in taxes because people arent held accountable for their own actions and just want to blame the banks for letting them take out loans they couldnt afford, no one put a gun to thier heads and made them take out loans they couldnt afford. Obama is a socialist in every sense of the word.

Valid point that people have to be held responsible for their actions. But do really think the banks gave all those loans because they were trying to be nice guys? There was something in it for them, like bundling securities on the open market. Not sure how it all works, but you know there was some funny things going on.

No but the point is that people making 20k a year should not have been buying houses for 200k, people need to be accountable for their own actions and have common sense. Not saying the bankers arent greedy fukks but the general public shoud not be responsible for coming to the aid of societys deadbeats and general incompetents. People have 99 weeks of unemployment benefits, does it really take 2 years to find a fukking job, people who work are footing that bill on those lazy asses sitting around getting a free check for 2 years.

Can we get some more sob stories on how hard you are working? Stupid clowns like you would rather see 50% vacant homes in every neighborhood rather than reduce someones mortgage payment by $50.

Why does someone else get help with their mortgage and not me, how is that fair? Like i said get a job and maybe you can pay your mortgage since most likely your a deadbeat as well since you advocate these scum. Funny how people who always get a handout say people who work are crying, you would have no idea since you dont pay for your shit, you know who does, people like me. You should try earnign a paycheck, its actaully better then walking to the mailbox once a week to get my donation that im forced to pay. I dont know how people do it, if i have a 3 day weekend by the 3rd day im going stir crazy from not doing anything productive with my time. I couldnt imagine not working for 2 years or longer or relying on someone else to feed me and my family, i guess i just have more dignity than most.

Let me try and put in terms you might understand deadbeat since this is a gambling forum. Lets say i have 500 dollars to my name and i bet a dime and lose, well i made a bet i shouldnt have cause now i cant pay, but hey, you are up 2 dimes for the week so a third party takes 500 from your winnings to make up the 500 i cant pay, but wait now im broke and cant eat so they take another 500 from you because im too lazy to earn the money i owe so this way i can eat and have a place to live and not have to work, and then repeat the process for another 98 weeks except when my 98 weeks is up i dont get any more dough from you but you have to go and do the same thing for someone else like me. Thats what unemployment and bailouts for deadbeats who cant pay thier mortgage is in a nutshell. End of the lesson deadbeat.

I have paid for everything I own and ever owned. Never received one single penny for welfare or for unemployment. Not one cent. However, I believe that unemployment insurance is a good thing, I believe that helping people that need help and got screwed by the housing bubble deserve help. I own my home and I will likely get no help. So what? I don't begrudge people getting help from the government. I think most of them are good hard working Americans that got a bad break. Welfare was reformed, maybe it needs further reform but I certainly don't want to see good people out in the cold. The government has a responsibility to provide a safety net for people that otherwise would be in serious trouble. Nobody is getting rich on welfare.

I wasnt calling you a deadbeat i was referring to that emily haines guy/girl, whatever the fukk it is. I do begrudge people who got in over their head at the fault of them and them only when it comes out of my pocket. The government does not have a responsibilty to provide a safety net for people, thats why people dont give a fukk cause they say , 'ahh the government will pay my way, i dont have to do shit', thats the problem with this country. Thats why working hard and making something out of yourself is now frowned upon in this day and age like the occupy douchebags, thats the obama propaganda, class warafre, wants everyone to depend on the government so they can control you.

Well 67% of the people don't call it "class welfare" but they do call it fair taxation. So you''re in the minority. Also I think most Americans think the government does carry some responsibility in protecting the welfare of the people. I believe even the craziest of R don't want it completely gone. So I believe you are in the minority there also. Just a difference of opinion.

And I knew you were not calling me a dead beat.

I was poor as a kid and we didnt have shit, i had a job since i was 12 when i started delivering newspapers as a kid and never took a handout, i guess the way i look at it is, if i could do it anyone can do it. Im not saying we cut off all benefits but the way it is set up now with 99 weeks unemployment is a disaster and obama wants to extend em even further. I saw a news story where people who were like 15-20 weeks in were getting job offers in the field of work they had been laid off from and were turning it down because it didnt pay as well as unemployment, but said if they had been getting these offers closer to the end of thier benefits like in weeks 80-90 they would have taken it, thats a major problem and that is all obama who extended this shit to 99 weeks when it was 26 when he took office, that is ridiculous, it doesnt take 99 weeks to find work unless your not looking. I was laid off twice in the last decade, the 1st time i was on unemployment for 4 weeks before i took a job at 65% of what i made before and the 2nd time i went into business for myself and never looked back.

You see when you have a conversation you find that we are not that far away, it is just a matter of degree. Our disagreement isn't about the system being totally wrong but it needing an adjustment. There is room for compromise. I agree. Now why can't politicians do this?

Hey pal you guys are all the same. Bitch and complain about people getting government assistance which totals about .0001% of the deficit, yet never say one thing concerning the police state and militarism that count for 90% of the deficit. No one gives a shit what you think and it is why your party got their ass kicked in 2008 and will get it kicked again in 2012.

EH you are one complicated guy my friend. You often make some very astute and intelligent comments and then out of the clear you sound like a revolutionary that would like to over throw our government. You sound sometimes like you hate the US and would not mind if the country was destroyed, but then you make a comment or two that sound more like a liberal or progressive than a crazy revolutionary. You confuse me.
