I'm not sure of Trump specifics so I could be off, but a lot of restructuring bankruptcies are done to save companies and often employees.

Trump even had options, like the Arab Prince, to put up the right kind of capital.

In business bankruptcy is often a tool, and not a bad option. Bankruptcy can be better for some creditors and the company than just closing the doors.

When bush was in office; all the cleanouts and maintenance work of those fore closed homes was serviced by yours truly. i had southwest ohio and northern ky. My business partner still has it but by me being uninsurable for blood pressure and diabetes I had to leave and work for trans-american. If we would of had obama care then I would of never left. By the way Bush is the reason that no one besides rich can file for bankruptcy. Try going to the hospital and getting a 200,000 bill for a week stay.

where's the simple direct point? More importantly, where is he right?

Trump might be a tv star I suppose but that's far from what he is. He's made billions as a deal maker and a savvy businessman. And he's an author also. While none of us can predict the future, there is nothing at all to suggest that he would make the country "more broke". If anything, the opposite would be true based on his past.

acoochy doesn't understand politics but pretends he does. He has an obvious hardon for The Donald and will dismiss his successes while praising Obama's failures while cheerleading for an old bag with no integrity and no ideas on how to make the country better.
