    Marquette tomorrow.

    yes I know, Its the Irish, at Home..and they just beat Syracuse and UConn blah blah blah.

    well Marquette is even hotter..one of the hottest teams in the nation atm and the #1 reason is their stifling defense. and if you take a look at ND offense past 5 games they are only averaging around 55 points per game on 39% shooting. just dreadful. that is not going to get it done against a suffocating defense like Marquette...who can also drain the rock as well, averaging 73 a game their last 5 shooting 43% from the floor. Quette is the more balanced and well rounded team. ND will be working so hard on the offensive end to get open looks, its going to be twice as tough to get back and play solid defense.......and will have no legs come 2nd half and we all know Marquette is one of the best 2nd half teams in the nation.

    Iona as well.

    Gaels can not WAIT to step on that court and avenge that loss to Manhattan were they dominated the entire game and just lost focus, got lazy and blew a 16 point lead.

    MoMo Jones went for 43 last game, Machado dished out 14 assists. this offense is a machine right now.

    Gonna be about tempo. I don't think I'll play this one, but the teams are very evenly matched. ND won't run with them. Marquette needs to press press press.

    Marquette is getting to the rim at well but not finishing. I counted 6 point blank lay ups missed in a matter of 2 minutes.

    if they finish at the rim 2nd half they win by dd.

    Love when a guys pick is very clearly wrong, and insteadof accepting the bad play (which we all make too often) he calls it lucky bounces for the other team and no calls for his side.

    Thats is exactly how you lose my 17, not because the other team outplayd you, but because the refs and the rims were on the other side!

    this is true about the 2nd half

    1st half surprisingly i thought marquette outplayed notre dame and i was lucky to get a win on nd 1st half pk
