Aaron Rogers criticized players for going half speed

He said injuries happen at half speed, not full speed.

Guess he forgot he's the only one on the field playing 2-hand touch.

    Just read the article too.

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/75...rs-embarrassed

Nothing really surprising. No one takes the Pro Bowl serious anyways. Most worried about their health more than winning a meaningless game.

Players are getting paid to play and entertain the fans. Most of that game was a joke. He has a point.

He wouldn't tell Terrell Suggs to go full speed around the corner.

He's right but it only applies to real games with legit physical contact.

Good for him. He dogged it, also, early, like it was a 'walk through'.
Was funny watching the AFC when Newton took over - the game changed.
This was the first Pro Bowl I've watched 'live' in 10+ years, I always DVR it. I've seen a lot of GOOD ones, but it's better when they play.
If Newton tucked in his shirt and took it seriously? The NFC COULD'VE won, but meh - coddled epic potential star. Mofo has to earn his stripes. Glad Dalton out-dueled him. One guy is a team player, the other wants to be a 'superstar' - and yet one of them rooks led his team to victory, yet the other set the record (in spite of his UNREAL upside) picks, GG. Cam Newton could be the best QB we've ever seen - but he needs a LOT of 'no' men around him. FFS, tuck in your shirt, cool dude. What a tosser. Guy has no heart at all - he's got a LOT to prove, IMO, in spite of his yards. To me, Dalton is the far and away ROY, but he won't win it, because he led his team to the playoffs but didn't put up MEGA numbers whilst losing most weekends.

If we're gonna talk QBs, Newton's upside is MENTAL. Dalton's can be a 'prolific winner'. What do you want? Cam just needs to grow up and learn and study. I'll venture a guess that Jake Locker next year beats out Newton's rookie stats and wins more games. Newton wants to be a 'cool guy' - that's all I saw out of him this year. He has a TON to learn about being a leader. If he does? He will be the best QB this world has ever seen, but he's been a coddled f\*g his whole way.... Which is why he was the 4th QB to be taken off of MY board last draft day (Gabbert 5th).

They should play a baseball game instead, then I'd watch.

Giants have more championships than the Niners. How many do you guys have after the Salary Cap/Free Agent era? Exactly, two can play that game. Giants have represented the NFC Conference three times this decade, how many times did the Niners? Zero? Sounds about right.

Buddy, the Giants are in the next week's Superbowl. They're vying (and on the verge) for their 4th Superbowl ring, so if anybody should ZIP IT, it's the fans of the losing teams watching from their homes. Don't hate.

Maybe you're right. Or maybe your giants are on the verge of disappointment.

Just so the numbers are square - the NFL jerk-off fest is at LEAST 1.5 million tvs or viewers stonger. Hmf. Wonder why. I dunno, no on in the NFL has a 200 MIL payroll (wank-mes) and no one in the NFL that succeeds is not some individual 'jordan rules' tosser basketball player. Basketball was incredidle til the 'Jordan Rules". Amirite?

Team sports are fun, and that's why MLB is unwatchable unless you're a 'big market team' and the NBA is unwatchable until the playoffs, because defense means as much to the players as I give a toss about 'hungarian cabient making'. Teams make sports, not wankers that are the lead on ESPN every night. Boycott ESPN and you MIGHT get some proper highlights like we did back in the 80s/early 90s. /rant off.. Just saying, the NFL is dominating it all withoug featuring players, but TEAMS, something dickhead Stern needs to read about or Bud up there in MLB land.

Who can really blame them? Meaningless game, just like the NHL All-Star, but at least that one has all the stars competing and not just the best of the losers.

Clearly the worst of all the all star games. I believe a lot of the money they make goes into the NFL pension fund. Probably why they play it.

I saw none of the actual game; that would have been a complete waste of time. I saw two highlights on ESPN and realized one thing. If a defensive lineman gave that kind of effort for the team paying him, he would have been cut right then and there. The NFL needs to do the right thing — don't play a game that no one wants to participate in anyhow, and get rid of the off week before the SB. There's nothing worse than these so-called "experts" taking two weeks to analyze a three-hour game. Enough already!

game got 12.5 million viewers so how did he ruin it?

and everyone is expected to go half speed in this game. had rodgers and the packers not played half speed vs giants maybe they wouldnt be playing in this game.

You can tell Rogers was festering with frustration since the playoff egg the Packers laid where any little thing would have set him off.He really tried to make himself look like everyones best friend over the years but you just knew he had a hidden giant ego.I'm sure it won't be long and he will be unfairly considered a racist.Hell,if a green martian made Arron look bad he would be pis$ed off.

liked brent keisels idea of flag football. who wants to tear an acl in the pro bowl? dont blame anyone for playing it half ass. should be like 7 on 7 drills you see with the high school players on espnu.

I'd take 3 years on the bench watching a hall of fame qb over a different coordinator every year also.
