    West Virginia -6.5 Monday should be a big play

    Big game for the Mountaineers returning home after losing two in a row. Got a wake up call at St. John's and then got screwed with the goaltending at Syracuse. Pitt is really not a very good basketball team. I see a motivated West Virginia squad dominating this game with their bigs.

    If Pitt doesn't beat Georgetown saturday they are likely at least a 9 or maybe even 10 point dog here so I think we are getting great value with WVU. They have traditionally been a very strong home team especially in conference play.

    I'm not worried about a letdown following the tough loss to Cuse... The Backyard Brawl needs no extra motivation and these kids will be ready.

    Even huggy bear said it's hard to get these guys back up after losing like that.

    Pittsburgh team is gaining confidence heading into this backyard brawl and I'll gladly take the points as I think they can easily win this one...

    I see absolutely no value in betting this game what so ever. Other then that fact that its going to be on ESPN I see 0% Value in this game for either team. GL I don't care who wins this game though

    pitt has won 3 consecutive vs. wvu.
    pitt is 10-2-1 ats in last 13 monday games.
    pitt is 6-2 ats in last 8 road games.

    so liking pitt..... only reason i don't take them is if lang is on them, which i suspect he might be.

    I was thinking the samething. This is a huge letdown spot for Pittsburgh after they beat Georgetown on Saturday. West Virginia is still real pissed about that no call in the Syracuse game, and i expect them to be motivated to win this big rivalary game

    you gots to remember other than two players this west virginia team is REALLY young, and there in a funk right now, i see a 3-5 point game, wouldn't be surprised if pitt wins outright their a different team with woodall. without him their horrid as you can tell by that losing streak they had, be careful on this one dude as im leaning LARGE the other way

    Just take Kevin Jones over 2.5 free throws made. Syracuse was the first game in awhile he didnt get to the free throw line more then 5 times.

    tough spot for the mountaineers right now, sadly i think pitts playing better lately. duno where there mind is tonight after the robbing on saturday. wvu games have been flying over all year except for saturday (12/19 overs, 7/10 in be play), this team really isnt as good defensively as it was in years passed, same could be said for the panthers. lean to pitt and the over if i had to play it, probably just watching.

    Not concerned about the line move here. The total is dropping which to me is an indication that this game won't be close in the final minutes.
