Shari and other Tennis boys and girls

I have a fairly substantial bet on Azarenka @ +780 to win the women's singles and am looking at options to trade/hedge some of that of before her match with Radwanska.

My thinking is that even if she wins today, those odds are not going to go down very much with Kvitova looking so strong.

What do you think the odds would be for a Azarenka v Wozniacki semi-final?

The only time Azarenka has been a favourite against Woz on a hard court was when Woz had pulled out of a tournament the week before (and Woz beat her in this one at $3.10). Considering Woz would have to get through Clijsters (which I have my doubts she can even do) while Aza would've knocked off Aggie, my guess is $1.60 Woz to close to evens.

I almost don't envy those of you with Azarenka futures at all.

I think Radwanska has a decent shot to pull the upset tonight

Radwanska always loses these matches, never gets past QF's in Slams.

But the line is going to opposite way at Pinnacle right now...weird.

It's a good chance she beats Radwanska.

That was my though too. I had Azerenka as 1.90 (-111) against Clijsters and 2.1 (+110) against Woz.
Either way, her tournament odds are likely to still be over 4.00 (+300) even with a win today.

I will leave it for now with the intention of laying some of it off after the match (assuming she wins!).
Quite often you see an over reaction.

Azarenka always finds a way to choke/collapse deep in majors as well...Radwanska is more mentally stable, Azarenka has more talent

Brad Gilbert tweeted a few minutes ago that Aggie had a "huge leg strapping" during warm up. Hopefully that bodes well for you! Normally I'd have put money on her in this one but seeing as how a few of you have Aza futures, I'll be cheering for you guys instead. Good luck

There was an 'incident' during Azarenka's warm up too. Seems she tweaked a hamstring which was the explanation for the line movement. She was moving fine in the pre-match warm up though.

Shaping up to be a good match. That was an unreal defensive point from Aggie to break back.

I have Azarenka going to the final in shari's tennis pool, so I hope she pulls through. To me, she is a female Andy Murray...both have serious talent and game but are mental midgets. Both should have won majors by now with their skill sets. I think both will breakthrough and finally win a major in the next year or 2.

    Took her live at +175

Should be an interesting 3rd set.
