If Giants go to superbowl and Eli wins

if brady is greatest qb of all time, then where do u put eli if he beats brady again for the 2nd time

You would have to put manning over brady and drop brady about 7 spots on the all time list.

This is why top ten ranks are bogus. Nobody really believes eli is top ten all time if he wins the next superbowl or even if they win next year.

Too many biased people. Brady isn't even close. He is about 11 on my list all time and eli is about 30

Brady is up there with Montana. Deal with it. If Eli wins, he still won't be considered above Brady, a lot closer for sure, but clearly not above him.

no you wouldn't have to, and i doubt many people would. a QB plays against the other team's defense, not the other team's QB

Eli is a hall of famer if he beat's Brady again. Brady is still the far superior quarterback as is Peyton. However, as I've stated, Eli is more clutch than Peyton.

    more clutch then peyton?? lmao

We saw how good they were without peyton this year. patriots would of made playoffs with a backup qb.

I agree with TT Warriour i don't get how much more clutch Eli is then Payton. Think Eli has had far more talent to work with then Payton. Colts defense has sucked since he has been there. Running backs never been that great for Indy. I don't know i mean its closer i guess but still think Payton is the better qb. Just look at how much Payton meant to the Colts this season with the record they had. Eli should of thrown 2 ints today. Niners players running into each other broke them up.

eli manning deserves a lot of credit this year. a-lot. he carried this team when they had nothing, and always shows up in the clutch. the giants front four and him are carrying this team.

if he wins anther super bowl, hof?

Bradys team dominate reg seasons....Giants won a toss up game..the defense won it today. Don't make Eli the 2012 Joe Montana

Look at eli's stats compared to Payton

Eli 82.1 qb rating 185 tds 129 ints 27579 yards passing

Payton 94.9 qb rating 399 tds 198 ints 54828 yards passing. Payton has been pretty clutch in his career.

I don't think Eli has hall of fame numbers myself.

Eli is more clutch. If he's able to win a 2nd Super Bowl (1 already as MVP), he's a hall of famer in his prime

when you do shit like throw a pick six at home on the 1 that results in a 99 yard seahawk td to win the game, sometimes people question if you're built like a champion. if he can win two super bowl titles, you're not going to hear the same kinds of criticisms. but what keeps people on his ass is the fact that his team hasn't put a full season together since he's been there-he just gets hot when it matters (and once again, i understand that is a big deal, just easy to overlook when you are anti-clutch in stupid regular season games like the aforementioned seahawks game, the opening game this year against the redskins, etc).

Eli not in the same boat with him even if he wins. Brady tied for most Wins all time in Post Season with 16.(Montana)

I agree with this, now there is no denying the greatness that is Peyton, his talent alone covered up a lot of flawed Colts team, but Eli has won more road playoff games than any other starting QB in NFL history, a second ring solidifies a first ballot ticket to Canton, doesn't move him ahead of Brady, but with a win in 2 weeks puts him the elite class.

Eli didnt do a whole lot to beat the 49ers yesterday .... He threw quit a few passes that could have been picked if the defenders did not collide into each other
Eli has come through when he was needed this season, but their push to the Super Bowl is about their defense finally stepping up.

Both Eli and Peyton have some very "Unclutch" post season moments. Peyton threw a super bowl losing pick six to the Saints and Eli threw what would have been a super bowl losing pick vs the Pats, had the defender not dropped it.
Brady threw a pretty "unclutch" INT yesterday that almost cost his team ...

I think clutch is hard to define. If you are trailing 30-32, you have done good all game and you need one last drive to win, its good ... if you have sucked all game then complete a big pass and set up a game winning Fg and win 13-10 , the it is heroic , but not as awesome...

Unless your Tim Tebow, then you lead an entire gambling website to talk about how bad you are and how smart they are, only to keep coming back with ridiculous drives, then it is pretty awesome.
