    I guarantee he will, he just went to the back to get his foot taped, he'll ice it down, and SB he has the week of next week so he'll have plenty of time to heal up.

    Haven't heard anything definitive yet but I assume so.

    He was standing on the sideline in full uniform after coming out of the locker room.

    With 2 weeks until the superbowl that's plenty of time for NFL team doctors to transplant an ankle if need be

    he will play, Im sure the walking boot thing is just bellichek messing with people... Im surprised he doesn't put all 53 guys from the rosterin boots and report them all as questionable to the books... er NFL office.

    He could get reinjured during the game.

    He'll be fine at the start. The risk of reinjury is the concern, but he's tough and they have painkillers for a reason.

    IF he was 10%, he'd lie, and play. It's the Superbowl, who knows when he'd ever get a chance again. Sure, it's the Pats, but anything can happen.

    It's obvious he is at 60-70%, he will take pain killers. Coach will use him as a decoy, and announce a day before he's 100%. Hernandez is the guy to watch. I have smashed every prop bet on Hernandez to whoop ass.

    Don't even waste your time following this. It's pointless. You won't know any more before the game. Bellichek ain't talking. Why would he? Pretty good bet that:

    1) He will play;
    2) Though he's not 100%, and;
    3) He could get reinjured, but if he doesn't;
    4) He will be a factor.

    If you're waiting for more certainty, don't count on placing any wager. I think his uncertainty is baked into the current number. If he was 100%, I think the line would be a high 3/3.5. You can't know if he will be 100% though. I suppose it's possible they could declare him out, but it's extraordinarily unlikely that they officially rule him out.

    if you're the Giants in the beginning of the game and Gronkowski is out there I'd sweep his leg immediately. See how he responds.

    They brought up a good point on Mike-n-Mike this morning about Gronk's status comparing him to Dwight Freeney in the Colts/Saints SB. Freeney had a good 1st half but the long halftime make his leg stiffen up and he couldn't go in the 2nd half which obviously really helped the Saints. If Gronk is going to be a big factor...expect it to be in the 1st half. I'm on NY all the way....the Pats don't have deep speed so the Giants can play sort of a redzone defense all over the field. The Pats will have to run the ball for well over 100 yds to hang imo.

    Breaking news, Gronkowski has contracted aids from poster "sideloaded"
    He will not be playing in the superbowl. Instead, Gronk will defend his new lovers sexual explorations on SBR forum dot com

    Think someone saw Karate Kid too many times.

    My source says he "will be fine" with a little pregame assistance of course. I think could be close to 100% at least at the start, agree the 2nd half could be an issue.

    I'm sure he will give it a go even if he is 50%, question is will he be effective? The true question however is will Brady's shoulder be back to 100% or will he be throwing ducks all night like he did in the Baltimore game? Gronkowski can't catch what Brady can't throw.

    If his high ankle sprain is typical, he's more likely to be at 10 percent effectiveness. You cannot play tight end with that kind of injury. Of course, there's only one person who knows how good or bad it is and he's not talking.
