I'm seeing a lot of bad arguments on the forums

Everyone finding info to support their play. Find some info to base your play on.

Does anyone have some good arguments about the NFC Championship Game?

I'll start. 49ers give up a lot of passing yards because their opponents play from behind and are almost always trapped in their own 20.

I did alot of reading on cold hard football facts last night.....like you said the only info here is bad info on why "their" team is going to win! small nuggets of bogus info. If you want some good reading on the games go read some of the stories on their.

Going back to 1980, the home team is 22-9, 71% of your BR should be on 49ers today.

So if SF makes it to the Super Bowl they're a lock cause they're 5-0 in the big game?

If SF makes it to the Superbowl they would definitely be favored to beat the New England Patriots whose defense is a joke and whom the 49ers front four or five could get to Tom Brady. If the 49ers could beat the Saints they would have a field day with New England in my opinion. Definitely would create a lot of turnovers in their favor.

But if they were to face the Baltimore Ravens....Ravens have the slight advantage there. Because the Ravens defense is just as hard hitting and ferocious as the 49ers defense plus they have enough talent on offense to put points on the board too.

The problem in all those 22-9 whatever stats of home field winning the NFC championship game go out the window the last 5-6 years because a lot more underdogs have been winning on the road in that time than usual. 2005 Steelers won the Superbowl as a #6 seed, Giants won the Superbowl in 2007 as a #6 seed too I believe. And in 2010 the Green Bay Packers won the whole thing as a #5 seed.

Home field advantage isn't quite what it used to be.

Home field advantage is big, especially when one team is traveling across the country.

    NFC 22-9
    AFC 20-11
    Total 42-20

But looking close, when one team travels across country, or at least a significant distance, then you'll see the the home team is 6-1 in the AFC and 5-0 in the NFC. 11-1 is a pretty impressive record for the home team when the visitor travel cross country, or close to.

So, you should be betting HEAVY and HUGH on the 49ers the rest of the way out. Take their future as well, guaranteed to hit.

Then post some dumbass. Opponents playing from behind and stuck inside own 20? That has to be the most useless info ever posted.

Why? New England played in a joke of a conference this year. They practically got a first and a second round bye (playing the Broncos) and only faced two decent teams in the regular season (lost to both by the way).

Baltimore will expose them....if they don't and squeak by the Ravens both 49ers and Giants are good enough to beat them. This is not the same Patriot team from the 2007 season and the Super Bowl years.

You can write all you want but it comes down to turnovers in almost every game
If analysis worked we would not work
