I'd say your chances of getting paid does not exceed 5%. Had a grand total of over 80k confiscated in winnings and deposits by the sportsbook about 3 years ago. The biggest mistake I made was to leave large amounts of money there because I wanted to avoid expensive payout fees and to take advantage of their deposit bonuses (as you know their system does not allow you to deposit if you have a pending payout and their payouts take forever to process). The only reason for confiscation was that I had 2 other accounts with their sister sportsbooks Reacebook.com and Win4real.com even though their management confirmed to me in more than one occasion that I can have an account at each outfit. When I first opened the other 2 accounts I did not even think they were the same company, but asked their management later to confirm and they said it was fine to have all 3 accounts. Confiscation took place only as soon as I requested 2 wire payouts for $9500 each. I was aware of their wager limits rule and never exceeded limits on any wager avoiding betting the same wager on more than one book at a time.
Not only they forfeited my winnings but also all my deposits. Not only they forfeited my winnings and deposits on the new accounts, but also they refused to pay me even for my balance on the first of the 3 accounts joined (the account that I had active in good standing with them for many years before openning the 2 new accounts). More than 25k in deposits remain in possession of the sportsbook without an explanation for over 3 years now. The only response I got from their management to all my email complaints was "Unfortunately, we can not accommodate for customers like yourself. All monies will be permanently forfeited. Your balance is ZERO on all your accounts".
I filed several complaints at that time with SBR and bankrollsports.com. Both ruled in my favor and advised the sportsbook to pay for all my depsoits and winnings. SBR spicifically stated the following in their News page "SBR has advised the sportsbook to pay the player for all wagers it booked since the player's funds were at risk. Bookmakers should have the ability to limit a player's action but should not retroactively void winning bets." Bankrollsports.com has also advised the sportsbook to pay me and even pressured them to do so. They marked them with a warning sign putting them in the negative list instead of their previous recommended list position after this dispute. Here is Bankrollsports' statement commenting on this case: "11/29/2008: (Negative) Our staff has had to step in for two customers in order to resolve payout issues. The first of the two issues was solved and customers needs were met. He received his payout with no further delay. However, in the second of two disputes, SportsBetting.com acted in a matter that Bankroll Sports does not approve of. In this case, the customer's funds were siezed by SportsBetting.com. The reason for SportsBetting.com seizing the funds was because the customer had more then one account with another affiliated book. They chose to resort to their terms of service which has a rule preventing customers from using multiple accounts to circumvent their book's limits. However, the TOS rule did not apply in this case. This book has been deducted from their reputation, service, and overall grade. We have checked them with a warning in this matter. Any future disputes could jepordize our endorsement in this book."
I have not seen a penny of the 80K. This had brutally affected the quality of my life for several months after this incident. My thinking is that the real reason for loosing this large amount of money was allowing it to grow in an F rated book. If the case was for 20k maybe, I would have better chances of getting my money. They just did not want to pay that much so they did not pay at all. My advice to all of you is to try to get your money out as soon as possible especially if you have large amounts, and never deposit or think about opening an account at these shops.
