    I can almost Guarentee that if the fight went into later rounds, Mendes would have only done better. Also hasn't finished anyone inside the dist in his last three fights. I was hoping the fight went the dist.

    I liked Mendes at +260 and will pay it again if they fight again.

    Mendes couldn't hang with Aldo and you would actually put money on him if they fight again?

    Aldo proved his takedown defense is one of the best. Mendes had his back and couldn't do anything....

    Underdog wrestlers are some of the best bets to make. Especially against foreigners. Olympic wrestling is a lot different then North American Collegiate wrestling. In college they wrestle from many different positions that come into play in MMA. Some of the best fighters in the UFC are/have been proficent in wrestling ... GSP, Couture, Ortiz, Hughes, Vazquez, Randleman, Faber, Brown, Henderson, Guida, Koscheck ... list goes on. It may not always be exciting, but it is efficient. Cheal Sonnen almost Silva with wrestling alone.

    you might be less angry if you see a fight replay sometime. he got caught, dazed and finished. not much you can say/do.

    i strongly agree that mendes would have had the edge if that fight goes to about the 2.5 round mark or especially later. aldo is the most explosive fighter in the business but mendes is very good.

    let us know the next time you see a +250 lock JJ.
