What do you make of Bookmaker's Saints -3, -135?
All week they've just sat there at 3 with huge juice while every other book (or most) had long since gone to 3.5.
What is this about and what do you think it tells us? I get nervous as a Saints leaner when I see this. Like they feel confident it's the Niners and they just want to rob everyone blind.

big money isn't going to lay -135 when they could buy the half point elsewhere and go -3 -125
SportsInsights has 64% on the Saints. SBRodds (5Dimes bets, I think) has action more evenly split: overall a bit more on the Saints w/ a slight majority of today's action going on the 49ers.
Not knowing Bookmaker I'd assume their action is similar to what SInsights suggests and guess that they could get more even action if they moved it to 3.5 but they're happy to grab those Saints bets. IMO looks like they think SF is going to come through, FWIW.
Most shops are -4 -105 for the saints. So IMO they want you to take -3 with juice even though you don't need it.

Yes, this is what I'm saying... they want the Saints players who like the more attractive line and don't mind the huge juice... they obviously believe it's gonna be San Fran and then they just made a bundle.
In any event, that's where my money is right now, and there's no option to add the hook

Booksmaker always leans like this on the square popular play. The line is the same at other places they just choose to show -3.5 (+105) instead.

You guys don't get it. That's not an attractive line. At least for big money. They will end up middle themselves with this line. And it's great for the book because when Saints cover they don't have to pay squat.

my guess though is that bookmaker wants more 49ers action at +3 +115. they probably have a bunch of public schmucks happy to take the -3 -135 and some big sharps on the other side taking 49ers +3 +115.
no big player is taking the saints at -3 -135 when they could buy it to -3 -125 or -130 somewhere else. to joe public an extra 05 doesn't matter much but to a sharp/shark/whale/scalper/bonus whore/etc it's everything

If the line was -3.5 -110 then most books would take it to -130 to buy that half point anyway.
