I have a really nice Josh Hamilton Game Used Jersey card.
Its from the 2011 Topps Diamond Anniversary Edition.
The card contains a piece of Josh Hamilton's jersey worn at the All-Star game.
It was easily one of the nicest cards I collected in the entire 2011 season.

In light if him breaking outta his 31 hitless playoff game slump....If Josh Hamilton hits a HR today I will ship this card anywhere you want me to ship it.

All you have to do is have more than 300 posts & guess which inning he does it in. No Duplicate Guesses.

i have some baseball, but basketball cards are probably my biggest value

when i watched the SI for Kids tiger woods card on espn...i went and found mine

i think on espn it sold for 6 figures (outside the lines tv show, if im not mistaken)

i directly put mine in a safety deposit box and now its worth shit compared to what it was

I'm rebooting this thread in honour of a big sale I made yesterday. My second largest sale ever. I sold the Mike Trout 2011 Topps update rookie card for $385 USD. I haven't collected since 2011. Just got lucky. His card is through the roof. The Collector I sold it to, if he has it graded and it returns a 10... Would be worth in the neighbourhood of $2,500 to $3,000. Tomorrow I will be putting up the Anthony Rizzo rookie card which is the third most valuable card from that set, after Jose Altuve.
I'll know tonight if I sell my 1958 Ted Williams. That will give me a grand total of $495 USD. I'm going to lose it so fast this weekend Rudy, you're going to enjoy watching it.

I don't slab my cards. Just not a part of the hobby I was ever on board with.
I collect like I gamble...low end.
If I pull a big money card I sell it immediately, it's financially irresponsible if I don't.
I don't find any enjoyment in someone else telling me what condition my cards are in So, let someone else ship em in and enjoy the happiness when they open it on mail day & see a 10.
Not my thing.

I like cash.

A guy drove over an hour from Belleville (BelleVegas) to buy it.

EBay is a fiasco & avoiding shipping issues is always nice.

The Williams is a 2.5.....maybe

Not worth getting graded.

i was collected shaq cards because my cousin told me to collect 1 person specifically

this card shop was going out of business, bought a $100 shaq card for $50

i bet that mother fukker is worth about $10

i can never find it in books

its a "Classic" brand

my tiger woods has a bend in it near the top of 1 corner so im sure im fukked there

id rather buy cards than play the lottery, but i havent bought any cards in about 17 years

The guy who purchased my card yesterday asked me if I would be interested in trying to unload some of his low end cards from his case breaks. He is buying three cases of Bowman's draft and three cases of 2019 Bowman's, he explained to me how it's all about finding the big hits. Kind of like playing the lottery. I told him I would be interested going forward, and perhaps getting paid in boxes from the case might be the best gamble I make all year.
