p manning isn't going anywhere with people with half a brain if he can play. Colts won't draft luck. A team like washington is already willing to give up their 1st, 2nd 3rd 4th round pick for him

Colts need defense, o line , not a qb, and if they do need a qb they can draft one in round 2 with one of their 2 2nd round picks

He either plays for Indy or retires. I think he knows he cannot play and announcement will come by end of Feb.

    Probably right...

I think playing for Colts is out of question... (would have kept Caldwell)

If he plays, he will want to win...

His best chance to win is in Arizona...

Seattle Seahawks. Skittle man, rice, and a decent defense in a weak division? Why not?

He won't go to NY. They will not trade Peyton Manning to another team inside their division. If they do, it better be for something serious.

Colts won't trade Peyton Manning period

    They can't afford to

28 million dollar cap hit if they do.

If anything he will be released and pick his own destination

Manning has to go. Luck is a first starter for most NFL teams, plus 1st rounder money. They won't be able to afford an aging injury elite QB!

Given the caveat that he is healthy enough to continue playing and is not considering retirement.....Holtgetsback is correct. He will not be traded. Seems like the pieces are all falling into place for Manning to be released by the Colts prior to the cap hit. Irsay seems to want to take this team in a different direction given the firing of Caldwell and the Polian's and his statement that he the Colts are planning to take Luck in the upcoming draft. Once Manning is released he will be free to go wherever he chooses. I think Seattle would be a great fit for Manning. The defense was very, very good this year especially in the 2nd half of the year. They have Sidney Rice and Zach Miller, the latter of who was especially impacted by Tarvaris Jackson's reluctance to throw the ball between the numbers. They will re-sign Marshawn Lynch, who will only be 26 next year. Also, Manning knows the importance of home field advantage and Seattle's is one of the best, if not the best, in the NFL. Seattle is a QB away from being an instant contender. I know, people are saying the same thing about these other teams (Cardinals, Jets, Skins, Dolphins) but I think Seattle's roster is younger and more talented overall. Just my 2 cents on the matter. A lot of dynamic variables out there that will impact Manning's decision so who knows what will happen. Only time will tell.

the best place for him is Canton. A neck injury is serious business. No need to ruin the rest of your life when you are already HOF bound and have your ring.

You should do a little more research on said injury. His neck is not the issue. The issue is whether the nerve in his throwing arm can regenerate enough for him to be an NFL quarterback.
