    I think it's part of the going through puberty process? In a book I have (Raising Boys) there's a part about when guys are going through adolescence and they lash out at the women who mean the most to them.     Shari probably would school all of us in most areas of life, anyone that has lived all over the world, seen so many cultures and met so many different people automatically becomes smart plus she is highly educated, relentless and of course a great Mom with lots of patience.
