Ravens -2 on Sunday a No Brainer

Rookie QB verses experience defense, plus must win for the Ravens to clinch the 2nd seed. Too much at stake to see a team with the Ravens caliber to not seal the deal. Were talking about the Ravens potentially losing a 1st round bye and home field with a lost. If the Patriots loses, they might even a get home field through out the playoffs.

Both teams has alot at stake. I'll take my chances with a team like the Ravens that knows how to close the deal when it matters with their playoff experience, verses putting my money on a rookie QB who's hasn't proven anything yet on a really average Bengals team.

It's will be a no brainer... once you are pretty sure Pitt is going to win. If Pitt loses Ravens have the bye and if New England wins as well game becomes meaningless for Ravens. Going to be watching that Pitt score close.

I agree with your thinking, but this is the NFL, so implying this is a no-brainer wager is misinformed. On the surface it does look good though, you're right. I am going to look somewhere else, but BOL to you!

Frostno is a horrible handicapper and when he creates threads on selections he really likes, its huge EV betting the other side.

The Baltimore Ravens are HORRIBLE on the road, are already in the playoffs and playing against a team that is fighting to get into the playoffs and you also have the added bonus of getting points with the Bengals.

Bengals plus the points is the correct side.

Balti too 1 dimension. All on shoulders or should I say legs of Ray Rice.

    Boldin not playing either, no?

-2 is sucking in baltimore backers be careful here

ravens aren't that good on the road, going 3-4 and only beating one team with a winning record

bengals are pretty darn good at home, losing no game by more than a td and all of their home losses are to playoff teams

This line is too shady, if it was Ravens -4 then it would be good-to-go....95% chance I stay away from this game, 5% chance I take the Bengals...

The Ravens are a horrible road team. Cincy wins and they are in. Bengals win this one but they must have the worst fans ever. Tickets are like $25 there and they had to do 2-for-1 deals to sell out what is essentially a playoff game, pretty gay.

Lets flashback to this SBR forum and let me show you a timeline:

Sept 18 2011: Everyone on here bitched and moaned about the Ravens on the road after they lose to a mediocre Titans team.

Oct 24 2011: Everyone on who bet got buried on their ravens teasers and ravens ml. Lose to jacksonville on MNF. People swear to never bet on the Ravens on the road yet........

Nov 13 2011: Ravens lose to Seahawks, people swore to never lay money on Baltimore on the road. But people still continue to bet on them......

Dec 18 2011: Ravens embarrass themselves on Sunday Night Football, once again people swore to never trust Flacco and Co. on the road.

Does anyone see the trend here. Putting money on Joe Flacco on the road is pretty much like playing russian roulette. Anything can happen.

Awesome the majority of posters like the bengals. Just bc a team needs to win to get in doesnt mean it's gonna happen. Ravens play playoff football every year on the road and every year it ends in Pitts. This team isn't go to let the chance to play at home go to waste. Ravens win by 7

This is a good point on one hand Cincy is desperate but for the Ravens this is a game they know they have to take care of business to get that bye. Boldin is probably out for this game so either way it is going to be a tough win for the ravens should be a close one.

If I had to choose I would take Cincy and, to a lesser extent, the under. No freaking way would I wager BAL on this one, not with their road record this year. But I think I'll just stay away.

I dont really see a big edge to taking cincy here, the bengals will not establish the run against the best run D in the NFL which puts the load all on Dalton to come through. Considering the Ravens have one of the more complex defensive schemes to solve and really solid cover corners and best safeties in the game I actually have to give the ravens the nod despite the poor road play. They know they have to improve on the road maybe it is one of their better efforts today.

I dont see how you can take BMore here....Cincy is gonna blow them out. The Ravens dont really care since they have the mentality that they can win in Pitt, which won't happen. Flacco stinks.

    Bengals 37 Ravens 14

I live in Northern KY and when I walk outside I can look across the river and see the stadium. It is super fuking windy around here right now and with the stadium being on the river it could be just as bad if not worse at the stadium. Games not until 4:15 but I expect it to be cold and windy and it may keep the score down in this one.
