ND hasn't seen a defense this good all season.

Irish hasn't really lit up the score board the last month, they could only put up 14 against Stanford in that loss, and managed just 16 in their BC win.

When the Irish do win, they hang 40+ on the the service academies, but so did Toledo.
I'm not impressed at all with Irish offense, look at the Pitt game too, 15-12 win.

What makes you think ND can score more than 17 on that great Seminole defense.

'Nole are 4th best in the nation in scoring defense, 6th best in yardage allowed, you can't pass on them, and they are the best team in the nation not named Alabama in run defense, and as a matter of fact, the Seminoles are the best team in the nation in average yards given up per run attempt.

FSU gives up 2.3 yards per rush, every rush.

Rees is going to be looking at 3rd and 7 all afternoon.
Then Rees is going to drop back and FSU and their fourth most (40) sacks in the nation is going to find his overrated ass on the carpet, looking at a 4th down and 14.

ND has enough defense to limit Manuel and the FSU offense to 24.

I know, before I send in a wager, I always ask myself "what could happen to sink this bet"?

The only thing that can sink the under is 14+ points on defensive forced turnovers.
Which could happen, but mountains of yardage on offense *will not* sink the under, I am confident of that.

yeah I am going back and forth and images of the florida st defense just causing punt after punt keep running through my head. I am a little worried about Florida St. scoring too much, but 46 is a lot of points and their offense isn't a powerhouse this season. I might end up taking FSU -3 because I can't see Notre Dame being able to score very much.

Precisely why I like the over...

Should be quick possessions for both teams. I don't see either team relying much on the ground game. Both will take shots of the "homerun" variety. Look for screen plays, trick plays, reverses, etc. from both squads. The under is the obvious play but I will be on the over.

Under first half Under full game.. This will hit. Long lay off, and FSU is starting 4 or 5 freshman on their Offensive line. They know their defense is NFL caliber and will have no problem letting their D win this game.. man. This play looks sooo good I want to really unload on it

The excitement = touchdowns beyond what the stats tell you. Just my opinion.

florida st games have gone (over 47) 5 times (under 47) 7 times

so the people saying florida st has been an under machine all season only watched the last month. they had a 4 game stretch with back to back 30-35 and then back to back 41-16 games

i think with the extra practice time for the offenses to get in rhythm this game is going over
