things to do in vegas on christmas:

    1) ride a bike or take a drive past red rock, connect with nature
    2) take a day trip to the grand canyon and walk on that walkway thing
    3) get drunk in the bellagio sportsbook while betting on the nba
    4) take advantage of promos and freebies like fishhead

all of those are good ideas but i would choose #3 every time

YES................very, very good steakhouse with many unique dishes.

Go there 2-3 times a week .................ask the one and only JJGOLD, took him there for dinner last month, kid raved about it for days.

To the point where I do not recommend the coffee shop any longer, except perhaps for breakfast items.

The Mexican cafe is a tad better than so-so, and certainly recommend it over the coffee shop.............and the buffet.

Side note on FREE CASINO GIFTS, yes many and most are not exactly even worth having............but if one plays in at an array of casinos, you do come up with a few acorns once in awhile that are decent. The ORLEANS gave out some great stoneware cookware last month...........the wife loved the shit.

Hilarious gift this past week from THE M was a BOBBLEHEAD featuring the casinos owner................................

yeah marnell built it, still president but i think he has no ownership - not sure why they kept someone on that spent over $800 million on a casino that was only worth $200 million a year later

even the old bondholders only got paid i think 25% of face
