I think Ben Gordon may be decent this year (of course you'll probably take a hit on FG%)

Haven't even looked into the fantasy basketball yet, and our draft is tonight.

ohh...I don't even have a clue how head to head works...My neighbor was telling me he was playing a head to head and started telling me about it, and I just started staring at the wall because I didn't want to listen.

I saw your posts earlier on fantasy basketball and wasn't sure if you knew what underrated meant...Now I'm sure that you don't.

You mentioned Monta Ellis earlier as the underrated player and should grab him in the 2nd round...

Monta Ellis is not underrated, everyone knows what he does and he goes out there and does it. And he should be drafted accordingly.

    Just like Bogut and Lamarcus...

Freddette? Sure he'd be considered underrated to most people

Holiday? There is a good underrated player(fantasy wise). He's not a big name, but for fantasy wise he puts up good numbers as a PG.

I have no idea what you're talking about, All I know is you're not really sure what UNDERRATED means. Right?

And that's what I figured...If Ben Gordon slips to late round he should be grabbed for 3's and 18ish points maybe 4-5 assists.

I don't know what he's projected at though.

He'll be getting good minutes because Mcgrady/Hamilton both gone.

I'll probably be looking for him in the 8/9 round maybe 7th depending on what my needs are. I'm not even sure what spot I have in the draft yet...

    actually youre wrong buddy-

that other thread where i mentioned ellis asked what good fantasy basketball strategies were. i said to get ellis but not waste a first round pick on him. he is a beast- his espn draft average has him going late second round- if youre the lucky person who picks him before someone else picks him (which will be 2nd or 3rd round probably even tho he will put up first rounder numbers) then your team will have a high chance of success.

lamarcus aldridge- yeah people know hes good and "know what he does" as you put it. but they dont really- unless they gamble and look at a lotta box scores- you cant really see all of what aldridge is doing in a few highlights. he'll likely have a couple triple doubles this year.

the jimmer is going in the 10th round on average and that is just a mistake. but i guess you agree with those two because they are rated lower???? (and holiday)

bogut is good for a couple blocks, lotsa rebounds and double digit scoring every game. hes going in the 6th round on average. his skills would justify his getting picked earlier or you can neglect a center early then still pick up a good one in bogut that late.

all of these numbers are based on 10-person leagues.

    c'mon guy get it together.
-he didnt ask "what players do everyone think are shitty (or which do they not know about) but you think they are good"
    completely different question

Kyrie Irving is averaging being picked 76th in CBS drafts I think he might do better than a 7throunder usually does

He went 2 picks before me in the 5th round. About pick number 55.

I got hosed with the 9th pick. Wanted to go Howard first then Bogut in the 4th and just dominate the boards and blocks and get last in FT's, but that didn't work out...Then I planned on taking Steph Curry @ 9th and Monta ellis @16, but that didn't work out

So I ended up with 3 prikks on Portland in my first 4 picks. It was a weird draft, but team looks decent, no dominant teams so it should be close. I had our league locked up last year with about 1 month to go. This year hopefully everyone is pretty close. I did take Ben Gordon ahead of Paul George, which I wasn't very happy about (11th round)

George is averaging 138th on CBS do you think he is worth a shot earlier than that ?

Around there is probably close to right.

If you're team is pretty well rounded, then I'd take him a little earlier that 138. His upside this season is pretty big. I just took Ben Gordon instead of him, because I needed another 3 pt shooter.

But he should be good for around 7 boards and 15 points, which isn't bad for a SG that late in the draft.
