Should P. Manning get MVP votes?

Manning's worth to his team is very clearly demonstrated. Brady's Pats did not dip this much when he missed most of the year.

I think Manning should get votes.

Patriots had a viable option as a back up. We see that now. Cassel is a starter in the NFL. Painter, Orlovski are failed fukkin athaletes. Wasted talent they call it.

maybe cutler gets votes too then. bears were 7-3 through the brutal part of their schedule and might go 0-6 without him in the easy part of their schedule.

How is the backup doing? Still think he'll be starting somewhere next year?

maybe you are mistaken on what an MVP is.

MVP stands for most valuable player. Over the course of the year, the person that HELPS his or her team the most, is considered the winner of this award. Manning helped the Colts 0% this year since he didn't play a single snap.

    That was quick ...

Anyways .... Colts were dropping last year as well. They would have had a better record this year, but it would probably be close to .500

Most Valuable Player, not having played a single game

Because of his injury, his team has not won a game this year... so, in theory, he was the least valuable player

His worth to the team is a whole different story, as long as he's actually playing.

Of course not. If you don't play, you're not eligible

Fair enough, so he should have won it every other year.

if winning is the formula for MVP than one can make an argument for Tebow.

tebow has nothing to do with denvers winning though he is just there when they win denvers defense is the only reason there winning..

the colts are purposely tanking this season, it has been known for most of the season. if this wasn't the case they would have a few wins already. i hope people realize this. that being said, kudos to them for getting away with tanking considering luck is the qb available and everyone (not me) seems to bow down and suck his dick. that isn't weird or anything, not a chance. good luck!

But in that case it would be the Denver defense winning the MVP award.

No need to give him MVP votes. Media can show him proper respect by never saying Brady is better ever again tho.

^ The difference is when Brady went down and when Trent Green went down - the Pats and Rams manned the phuck up and and balled! They didn't tank the damn season.

So the giant decline in turnovers had nothing to do with the defense giving up less points ??

Peyton already has 4 of them. How many do you want to give him? It's not like his MVP level play has been a mystery.

Why would Peyton Manning get an award for the Colts inability to build a solid all around team...

I think Aaron Rodgers has been a little bit better than Peyton Manning this season.

stop whoring for attention, no one is actually stupid enough to think he deserves any vote for this year.

Of course not, but your point is correct. Maybe now the Peyton haters can appreciate just how great he really is. He single handedly willed an injury ravaged team into the playoffs last year.

If he played they would have won games. He didn't play and they haven't won, so he has negative value. How much is he making for standing on the sidelines?
