I am tempted to bet on the Mariners bc if they reach the ALDS they will be deadly with that pitching rotation but anything can happen in a 1 game playoff and it looks like they will face either Oakland or Anaheim in a 1 game playoff.

( Assuming the Kansas City Royals come back down to earth....like i think they will)


But other than the Mariners i like an American League team to win it. I Just cant quite decide who...Tigers are a different animal come playoff time i like their chances and I fancy the A's chances as well.

Do the Orioles have the pitching? Who knows but they need to go ahead and cut ties with Ubaldon Jimenez they aint winning shit if he has to pitch in the post season.

The biggest problem I see with the Halos is their offense is very suspect. In the post season, they will pitch around the Juicer. Hamilton did nothing in the post season when he was good at Texas. In 278 ab's, he's got 8 hrs with 99 k's. I know they got over players in the lineup. But he's a big hole in the meat of the order.

I havent looked at the World Series odds lately but i assume the Mariners odds are going to be pretty generous even right up to the day they clinch the wild card spot.

Reason being they still have to go thru a 1 game playoff against either Anaheim or Oakland 2 really good teams with that game being on the road. And that is just to get to the ALDS
